The price and the location. The staff was nice and helpful. It is really close to pretty much anything. My room 217 was clean and comfortable.
The hallway carpet was filthy. The breakfast was juice waffles and toast. There were no elevator had to carry my bags up stairs. All the outlets in the room were loose and plugs keep falling out. Only outlet that worked was the bathroom and under the desk.

It was just what I needed after driving from Arizona to San Marcos. The staff was friendly and I was able to get some much needed sleep. A pleasant evening and quiet. Thanks for letting me relax for the evening...

Initially concerned about parking because of what looked like a spotter ride thru on a bicycle, but there were no issues. Staff was aware and knowledgeable. Cleaning staff left the plastic suction hook in place so nylon scrubby and back scubby would dry. (Thank you)
Never did get a connection to the WIFI, but there were other off-site WIFI connections nearby. Not as convenient, but got most of work stuff done before heat (summer) became an issue. Would like additional table space (mounted or folding). Had to lay jobsite plans out on the bed to update work in progress/completed and review next section for the tradesmen to prep.

Breakfast was good. The room was good. Several noted minor improvements since we last stayed (about a month ago) Very clean and masked/gloved staff were great to see. Even got small sanitizer bottles at the front desk for us to grab.

breakfast was good, room was good beds were a bit hard. The AC in the first room did not work, they quickly sent for the mechanic. He tried to fix the AC but could not. They quickly changed rooms for us.

The lady Sulma at the front desk was the most friendly and helpful to help me find stores in the area ..always asked how my day was..thats the way a front desk should be.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Amenities were excellent: refrigerator, microwave, etc. The location was very convenient to food and convenience stores. I will definitely stay at this particular Days Inn when back in San Marcos and the San Diego, California area!

A breakfast had been advertised, but we found out after check-in that it was not being served due to covid. It would have been helpful if this had been explained at check-in at least, if not during the reservation process.
