Best Western Plus Orchid Hotel & Suites

Though the building is showing its years of use--it was kept up well--rooms were fantastic. Loved the beds/mattresses and the pillows. AC worked well--thank you Pool was fantastic also--good way to cool off

The young lady at the front desk that checked me in was not the friendliness. I have a mixed racial family and I wondered if that was her problem with me. The driver for Enterprise dropped the girls and our luggage off at the lobby, due to the temperature while I went to the Enterprise to get our rental. she needs some customer service classes

The room was good sized, the bed comfortable, and the room amenities nice. Breakfast was fantastic for a buffet with eggs and sausages and a variety of continental items. Breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful. Check in was simple and the desk clerk helpful. And although the lounge was only open 5PM to 9:30 PM, 2 free drinks were given for each guest and the servers were great hosts. Finally, although the area is not the most picturesque, the surrounding shopping areas included good choices for dining and drinking within walking distance. All in all, a great place to stay if you need one in the area.

It was unfortunate that due to staffing issues our room was not serviced during our stay. I do not know why we were missed on the Friday, and we were informed that due to staffing issues there was no scheduled service on Saturday or Sunday (unless the room was being prepped for the next guest). This seems a problem all too common at all too many places these days. But there were enough towels for our 3 day stay anyway, and the front desk was kind enough to provide replacement amenities so we could still use the in room coffee maker.

Staff was friendly and room was very clean which is really important to me. Bed was comfortable and temperature settings were good. Really nice stay.

I didn't like the set up of the bathroom that the shower, toilet and sink were all connected without a door. There was a door that separated the toilet, shower and sink with the rest of the room but you could not use the toilet while someone else was using the sink/vanity area. Or someone could be showering and then you can't use the toilet or the sink/ vanity area.

The king suite was very spacious and clean. The a/c and water pressure were great. The bed was super comfy. There is tons of parking and even the parking lot is clean. You also receive to free adult drinks nightly in the lounge and there is a very nice deck to relax on. The breakfast was amazing. Hot- scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage patties and links, oartmel, and 3 waffles makers. Cold- Yoplait yogurt regular & Greek and a yogurt machine lots of toppings, 4 types of juice, fresh cut melon, apples, oranges, lots of bread types white, wheat, raisin, muffins, danishes, and croissiants. The ladies are on it in the breakfast area which has seats for about 60. The best part is Robyn. All staff was friendly even a maintaince man I spoke to in the lobby. Robyn is a gem!! She was interacting with everyone as she cleaned and stocked. She was walking over to tables with kids and offering crayons and coloring placemat. She is an absolute delight! I watched her interact with a young boy about 9, they went to the lobby, then she returned with his picture to place it on the bulletin board. If we need to stay in Roseville in the future, this will definitely be the place!

Nothing, everything was great!

The breakfast was excellent. The servicers were attentive and made sure the food/coffee was refilled. The variety of food and drinks was very good also. There was plenty room and places to seat. Thank you.

The Key card did not work from outside and the room. I asked the front desk service, and they were very helpful. It still did not work so the maintenance worker helped and he fixed the problem. Both the front desk service and the maintenance worker were very helpful and resolved the problem as quickly as possible. Thank you

Breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was comfortable. The front desk and house keeping were great! I had fun at the pool and hot tub. And the after hours lounge was fun.

One of the cooks at breakfast was very rude and went off on me because of something I did or didn't do. I'm not sure what happened because I got a very rude explanation that I couldn't hear because of everything going on. I almost left because of that.

Cleanliness is always my top concern and the hotel was lovely and clean. The room smelled good upon entry (always reassuring) the courtyard is beautiful and it was so nice and quiet which is huge after a long day of travel. We loved it.

Nothing - everything was great. We stayed here because our power was out at our home in Grass Valley and the Orchid was a welcome refuge of comfort for us. It will be our go-to for future bad weather events

Upon arrival, the young lady at the reception desk was very polite. I had booked a disability room by mistake because of the room it one queen sized bed instead of two and I thought the extra room would be nice. She upgraded me to a king-sized bed with a couch, chair, and table I could work at. She shared all the places I could eat at. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding with a large selection to choose from.

The facility is rather spread out. THis could be a problem for someone that has a problem walking. It was not a problem to me.

the deck was beautiful which my family and I were able eat our takeout dinner at and liked there was a bar the provided 2 free drinks. oh and the pool!

just that I wasn’t able to check in early. I was told I can call the day of in which if I’m able to and was told I couldn’t even though I called around a CHECK OUT time which was 11am and my room was still unavailable until 3. I was willing to pay extra but it was nice that we were able to leave our baggage at the front desk

The room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was a huge plus in my book and there was something to please everyone. I especially loved the hot biscuits. The staff, from the registration desk, housekeepers, maintenance people, food and beverage were great. We enjoyed the happy hour and conversation with the bar staff as well!

Not a deal breaker, but there was no screen in the bedroom window and the tv in the front portion of the room did not work.
