Best Western Plus LA Mid-Town Hotel

Location was perfect for all our travel destinations. Breakfast was pretty good and staff was more than helpful and friendly. We had room service every single day!

I think the only problem was the overwhelming smell of marihuana from other guests in our hallway. It was hurting our eyes.

Comfortable bed, nice TV, fresh towels. Close to my work location - walking distance - and lots of restaurant choices. Free breakfast better than most hotels that offer it. Eggs, sausage, waffles, and fruit were offerings. Very reasonable $10 overnight covered garage parking fee with plenty of spaces.

These days I prefer wood floors to carpet due to not knowing how clean the carpet really is. No view - just a building wall outside the window.

Very large room. Friendly staff. Location was alright.

Breakfast only had plastic dishes, plates, utensils, cups. You throw away large amounts of garbage every day at breakfast.

The location is very good and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast included. Parking reasonably priced. Many restaurants nearby.

Bathrooms could use renovation but they were clean and functional.

Our room was very quiet and we didn't hear any neighbors. I did request a quiet room. It's close to good food in Koreatown and was within walking distance of our hotel. Just walk down 6th and you'll see lots of places to eat. A taco truck was up the block around 5pm and it serves up really good Mexican food too! And tacos were only $1.75. The shower curtains were clean and did not smell sour or have mildew on them. The water pressure from the showerhead was very good and not weak. And the setting for the hot water is set for you so you don't have to guess! Just turn it all the way to the left and you won't scorch yourself. Having a refrigerator and microwave oven came in handy. We parked in the garage every night at a low price of $10. I guess the time of our stay was clear of conventions because it wasn't busy at all and parking was not a problem. Breakfast was ok and a bit better than just packaged pastries. You're able to choose from eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausages, tater tots, cereal, yogurt, etc.

Front desk people don't seem too friendly. One bed was fine, but the other bed was sunken. Luckily, my daughter did not come with us as planned and we only slept on the bed that wasn't sunken. The room was not vacuumed each day and so whatever you leave on the floor, stays there. We even found a toddler's unused underwear near the floorboard in the bathroom from one of the guests before us. How did housekeeping miss that? We're not picky people, so we can overlook some of these things. If you're expecting more than basic, then maybe this wouldn't be a good option for you. For us, it was comfortable enough for a few nights.

Very noisy if your room faces 6th Street.

Able to accommodate a group of four at 11:45 at night after an Air BNB cancellation. Staff was exceptionally friendly, the room was very clean, and cleaned thoroughly every day after. Continental breakfast was a good value for the nightly cost. Great location in Korea town for food and fun. Parking is also very reasonable.

No complaints. Could not have asked for a better hotel. They really saved us, especially last minute.

I had previously stayed here in December for another concert we were attending and the beds were so comfortable plus the convenience of location that I decided to book again this time around in LA. We actually got to use the hot breakfast this time around (we overslept last time lol) and the food was pretty good, had options! Water pressure (a must for curly hair) was strong as well!

Personally feel that for any hotel, parking should be included but it isn’t a super steep price ($10/day) & there was a bit of street parking nearby! Since it was three of us, I was hoping we would also get an extra set of towels but I’ll make sure to request ahead of time next time we’re in LA!

The stay was overall OK, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the position was good and there was a desk that I used for working. The breakfast was quite satisfying. I would go back if I wanted a stay in LA for a reasonable price.

The only thing that bothered me a little bit is the chair in front of the desk. It was a leather chair and it was really stinky, likely the sweat of the previous guests. It was easy to fix, I just put a towel on the chair. I would suggest the hotel to use a different type of chair or to put something washable on top of it.

Breakfast was ok but the juices were not real juices especially orange juice was very watery & tasteless. Location was unkept & scary.

Staff could have been much happier, supportive & thoughtful. We ran out of bathing soap & our house keeper replaced the towels but never thought of just refilling without us asking.
