It's a budget-friendly option in LA. I felt safe during my stay. My private room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The Wi-Fi was good and it was quiet at night. The owner was nice and very friendly. I would stay again and recommend it to friends.

Really good value for price and room, location was very convenient to excellent local food and grocery stores. Manager very gracious in extending our stay on last minute, would definetely stay again. Laundry station located on property very helpful. 9.8/10

Location near subway station with many houseless people around the corner but that is not hotel's fault, I understand the houseless crisis occurring in California, especially L.A.

The location was absolutely perfect for what I came to LA for! I went to a show at The Wiltern and it was just down the block. It was also easy to get to Hollywood and Santa Monica using public transit. And there was lots of great food nearby. The chargers were great, each bed had its own little charging port with regular plugs AND usb! The inside was really cute and the beds were comfy. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would probably stay here if I ever come to LA again

The hotel is like a hidden gem very close to downtown area in Korea Town. Plenty of restaurants and places im walking distance. We were seeing a band at The Wiltern which is only two blocks away so it was easy to walk there and walk back. The Libra has an old style, quaint feel to it where you directly check in with the owner or close employee who was very sweet and even politely escorted to our room. The room itself was fine, very open and plain but clean. It was suitable for our stay as we werent concerned with posh surroundings like most corporate hotel rooms and we quickly got comfortable and made ourself at home. I would say it would have been nice to have a second chair at the table. Overall i would stay again. It is a quint hotel hidden in a bustling area with an inn type of feel and in walking distances of many bars, restaurants, andu a venue. Just be aware it is an old building and it can be loud at night cause the area.

Some of the problems to consider is parking is difficult to find as they do not have their own parking area, so you will want to pull up and unload your things and have one person check in as i was lucky to find non-restricted parking spot two blocks away in the residential area that you can only park in for certain hours and parking goes fast. You may also want to bring some sort of sleeping ear muffs as you are in a downtown area and there is a lot of honking and sirens and as it is an old building it was not built to insulate sound or reduce it, but that is the cost of being in a downtown area. Luckily it wasn’t a problem for us. Check out was simple by just dropping off the key card and leaving before the check out time

Incredible value and great location. Room was both spacious and clean. Hotel proximity is close to everything including eats, public transportation, and grocery stores. Reception was friendly and accommodating. Air conditioning unit worked very well. Hot water from showers and good water pressure (if that's your thing).

We were in room 7 which is situated above a restaurant. There was a constant muffling sound of music from the floor of the room. This could be annoying if you want to stay inside the room during the resturant business hours. Otherwise, there was no issue with traffic noise and every other occupants of the hotel was considerate.

I got a private room with a friend and my sister. We didn't know what to expect, but we immediately felt safe that we had to get buzzed in to get inside the hotel. After checking in, you get key cards to your room. The cards have a code to open the front door of the hotel after, so you can go in and out of the hotel freely. The lady that checked us in was so nice and helpful! She really made sure we felt comfortable and was accommodating the 2 days we stayed. The room was nice and spacious and the private bathroom was good! We also all appreciated that there was a fridge and microwave. It really came in handy. Our room also came with a really nice A/C and heater unit. Most importantly, the room was decently clean. We were going to the Wiltern to watch a concert. The walking distance was so short and it was relatively safe to walk back at night. Overall, we had such a good stay! If we ever need a place to stay in Koreatown, we would definitely come back here again ( :

These are all small things, but the room could have used a bit of some dusting on certain surfaces. The fridge and microwave had a bit of a smell, but it was okay. We had wipes to wipe it all down, so it wasn't a big issue.

The whole ambience felt safe, clean, and modern. The lobby door is secure with personalized room codes. The parking lot is gated. The room was spacious for 3 guests with a small dining table, TV with cable, microwave and large mini fridge. Check in went smoothly as well as check out. The hallway wasn't noisy. Clean quiet and chic.

Unfortunately the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The beds were harsh spring mattresses so sleeping and laying down was a nightmare. Also, there's no entrance from the parking lot. You have to go through the car gate around the block to the lobby door entrance (it's a quick 20 sec walk, but still.) This was the only part that felt unsafe.

Great location to see Koreatown from, room was a good size for our party of 3. Bathroom was also surprisingly big which was nice to have (we had the corner room). Air conditioning in the main room worked great. Gated parking is a plus as well, for $20 a day

Bathroom needs a better ventilation system; as it stands whatever vent that exists in there (which may be none, I don't remember) does not do much of anything in the way of venting out moisture from showers. There is a window in the bathroom that was hard to open that works, but there is no screen for either privacy or security (not a huge issue I suppose since all rooms are second floor) so the window opens straight out, at body level, in front of the shower (there is a curtain for privacy)

Decent area; there's a few 24hr facilities close-by along with plethora of public transit, easy self check-in, and good amenities. (I didn't interact with the staff so I can't comment)

It wasn't the fault of the staff or facility but it would've been more enjoyable if my neighbors also abided by the 'quiet-time' that occurs after night hours. It was annoying that I could hear them drunk-singing into 2am while I had just gotten in late after traveling. (If you have my luck bring ear-plugs)
