Comfort Inn Near Old Town Pasadena in Eagle Rock

Upon check in, the front desk person was veey friendly and helpful. She also gave some oreo snacks. Since she was alone doing everything, she asked me if I needed extra sheets, towels or pillows. She even called our room to make sure we still needed anything else. I like the fact that our room had a sofa bed in the room and it was very closeby to the lobby so not a far walk. The breakfast lounge area was also closeby and it requiresd your room key card to get in. So I like that, for the safety of the customers. Overall stay was excellent. Would stay here again in the future.

The only thing is I wished the front person had more help.

Really nice hotel with parking, pool and complimentary breakfast with waffle maker. It was possible to leave our luggage at the reception after check-out. There were free amenities in the room. The room was spacious and clean.

Everything was good, only the breakfast could have been healthier - there were no vegetables or wholegrain bread available. There was no shower gel in the bathroom, there were shampoo, body lotion and conditioner.

This is an ideal venue for the Rose Parade as it is on the bus route - something we didn't think about so booked car parking which was slow. This is a hotel that knows how to make you feel welcome in so many ways. They keep their pool open even when cold as well as their hot tub which I enjoyed twice. If breakfast ends, coffee is moved to a lovely lobby where you can drink as much as you like. We had a proper bath with great hot water, plenty of towels and room cleaning every day. The breakfast had plenty of variety including fresh apples. It was quiet at night - our room had one King bed across the car park from the breakfast room. We both slept solidly and my husband doesn't usually sleep well away from home. The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows.

Nothing - my only regret was not seeing I could get a bus to Pasadena instead of paying $55 for Rose Parade parking.

It is a good place to stay, the breakfast it good, everything else is good compared to the price. The elevator it is a plus, it is really helpful. The location was great.

The dining rooms or breakfast room was too small, maybe add more fruits, not only oranges and apples. There was a small misunderstanding with the staff, since we wanted to have more nights in the hotel and one of them gave us that possibility but when changing the shift all the information provided was not correct, therefore we had to shorten our stay.

The motel was able to accommodate our request for a ground floor unit. The room was clean and King bed was comfortable. We appreciated the many pillow options. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. The outdoor hot tub was nice and hot, and very relaxing after a day of walking around Universal. We did not try the pool (too cold). The breakfast room provided 'cook your own' waffles, and pre-made eggs/cheese, and link sausages. There was also dry cereal and milk, and muffins. Food was good overall, but the coffee was not good, and the juice was watered down. We liked that the parking was right at the rooms, and was well off the busy street (Colorado Blvd.)

Some street noise was able to be heard through the door and window, but not a lot. The room next-door was blasting their TV until after midnight, but when we called the front desk, they called the room and it was taken care of quickly.

Given this was an INN, the stay was comfortable. Absolutely outstanding service from the staff. The location is beautiful and bright. We just stayed one night so did not get the room service. Beds were comfortable. Rooom was big. Very clean and maintained hygine Breakfast items were enogh and fresh.

Breakfast seating are was tiny and crowded. I would reccomend them to move this to some other room or space. Breakfast items are more than enough. This room does not match that whole stay, meaning: room was good, location was nice, Inn it self looked speciaus, but bearfast room felt like we were in the storage. Nothing serioud given their food was fresh.

Great location. We spent a few days at Universal it was about a 20 min car ride in the morning. We were able to eat breakfast and head out early for a great day at the park. The hotel has no frills, but why pay the extra money for frills when you are only sleeping there. The front desk was quick and nice. The rooms were clean when we came back. Also a huge shout out to the housekeeper for our room. She hid my daughters ball under the pillows and my daughter thought it was so funny to find her ball under there. Would stay here again.

Room was on 2nd floor and this motel had an elevator to get to the 2nd floor. Never saw this in any of our previous booked motels. Room was clean, spacious and complete w/ microwave, fridge, hair dryer, iron & iron board.

Check in. While all 3 ladies in the reception area were all smiles, only 1 processed at check in. Even though there were 3 familes waiting to check in, the other 2 ladies didn't help out (maybe they were on break? It was around 4ish pm). So I waited some 25ish mins to be checked in.

The staff was nice. They allow us to stay a few mins after breakfast end. Mostly clean. The breakfast was good (egg omelette, sausages, waffles, toasts, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, fruit). Never had trouble parking.

The water dispenser in the lobby was broken almost all days. The coffee machine in the room was not clean (dirt/sediments in the water). A few stains in the sheets.

Our king room was large and comfortable, with plenty of space for suitcases and a wardrobe for anything we wanted to hang. The bed was firm and comfortable. Pool are was clean and water crystal clear. Breakfast--from 7 to 10--offered pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices and coffee.

The bathroom was a bit small, and water pressure not as full as we would have liked. Perhaps CA water laws require a flow restrictor.
