Motel Sakura

The lady who checked us in was very nice and we had a free upgrade. She gave us some info on the areas near the hotel and recommended places for us to eat. The carpark is gated so it feels more secured. If you are arriving for the first time, just drive closer to the gate and it will automatically open. Room is very clean. And there are charging points next to the bed. There is a supermarket just 1 min away by car which opens till late. Perfect for us to do some late night shopping before getting back to the motel. We happened to book this motel again for the second leg of our trip and were very glad that we did so since we like the motel.

While it seems like guest are allocated one parking lot per room, some of the parking lots can be a little small so do take note if you will be getting back late as that's usually the ones that are left. But it isn't much to worry about!

Believe all the great reviews! Very clean, spacious and comfortable! Lots of space to lay out our luggage. Love the microwave, the fridge, the iron and ironing board. Also got some pour over coffee filters from the friendly gentleman at front desk to use with the electric kettle. He even upgraded our room, that was nice! He had an adorable cat hanging out with him. Loved that there was a vending machine just in case you needed snacks or drinks. Also loved the secure gate that closed at night. Parking was awesome and convenient. The rooms seem to be well kept and possibly recently renovated. The interior was very modern. The bed was very comfortable! It had a desk and a separate table to eat at. My only regret was not staying longer. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Actually everything was great. No complaints! Maybe the only thing would be maybe have blinds on the windows not just black out curtains. It's nice to have privacy, but also nice to have natural light in the room. But don't get me wrong, those black out curtains were great for sleeping in.

Actually they were very accomodating to our request for a quiet room on a top floor. If that is what you are looking for then request 306 (pretty sure that was it). A little strange in that the room is really quite large and looks like it at one time probably had two queen beds. We loved Sarantinos restaurant about two doors down. Very good service and food at a very reasonable price. Any Foxy's for breakfast in the 100 or 200 block of Colorado St. Also very good food and service at a reasonable price. Two real plus places that we had not counted on.

No real complaints of any kind

We are having a round trip for our honeymoon and we have had our first night here. Therefore we left the hotel with a nice feeling. Now, after our second stay there, and having stayed at another 3-4 hotels around Nevada, Arizona and California, we can say that Sakura’s is the best option!! It is clean, in a good location near LA, it has all the facilities you need for a round trip (parking, laundry, vending machines, coffee/tea facilities…), staff is helpfull and kind, they ask all the questions with a smile… no words to explain how gratefull we are. Thank you all for making our experience a lovely one! Next time we visit LA, we’ll come back to Sakura for sure :)

Nothing. All was perfect

What a great motel! The room was very large, with a fantastic bathroom and large shower and lovely toiletries provided. The bed was great, and the TV huge and all the channels worked, along with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. Everything was thought of for the traveller in the room, with lots of power sockets with USB adaptors, and a good size fridge, microwave etc. The room décor was very nice, bedding and pillows clean and soft, and everything in the room was maintained and worked perfectly. Parking was secure, and a great selection of restaurants and supermarkets around the the motel area. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel and would definitely stay again, as it is great value - Perfect!

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Glendale with updated and beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and an exceptionally clean bathroom with enormous tub and stone floor and easy gated parking. This stay is an absolute find in Los Angeles as it is close to Glendale Galleria, Hollywood and Griffith Park and a short ride from Burbank airport. At the risk of not having a room available when I come back, this has to be one of my favorite Los Angeles stays. If you are on a extended stay for work, this is the perfect place to land, 1/2 a block from grocery shopping, reasonable restaurants, near studios. I stayed in one of the back rooms and it was very quiet.

To start, the staff is extremely courteous, I’m big on customer service. The rooms are quite sophisticated, clean, and the TV is huge. We were able to connect our PlayStation to watch our own programs and play games; however, they have have many apps already set up for guests to watch such as Netflix, HBO Max, Disney +, etc. I wished we could have stayed another night to fully enjoy the comfort. Oh and another big one for me is safety, I liked that the gate closes at 5pm, so I feel my car and myself are secure at night.

Everything was great. If I were to pick something that I would change, it would be the size of the rooms. They are small, even the bathroom is small. Could be an issue for other ppl. Either way, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location between Burbank and Pasadena, safe gated parking lot, very clean room with very nice owners, maid service available as needed. Nice shower with dual spray heads and large mirror with adjustable lighting. Nice size refrigerator with microwave and electric hot water pot.

Colorado traffic noise can be heard, could be reduced with added weatherstripping around room entry doors. Bathrooms should have some hooks added to wall or door to hang clothes. Add a door mat or rug at entrance of room to wipe shoes off.

I was absolutely OBSESSED with how amazing this property was! Super clean room, super comfortable bed, had a TV where we could actually watch YouTube and Hulu without having to plug in our own hdmi to watch it. The staff here were also so kind and helpful when it came to us finding a place to eat for the day (AND IT WAS ACTUALLY GOOD FOOD!) I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who comes to stay and doesn’t want to stay in the heart of LA.
