Engvadonia Yosemite B and B0

I seriously mean it when I say that 10 is not enough for this stay. The place is fantastic, in the middle of green fields, silent and super calm. The hosts Nickey and Steve go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, adapt their schedules to acommodate yours and Nickey makes a GREAT breakfast. Another thing (super important to us) is the fact that they have an Espresso machine! As for the room: big, comfortable bed and clean Location wise it offers the best of both worlds: It's 10min away from the city center (Mariposa) where you will find nice restaurants, bars and stores and it's 1h away from Yosemite National Park, with a beautiful scenic route that most likely will make you stop every 10km just to take pictures. The level of comfortability is such that it literally feels like being at home. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone! P.S.: A big plus, they have a very sweet dog that loves cuddles. But if for any reason you are not comfortable with it, they will respect that and make sure she is not around (to be honest, it would be your loss, she is too sweet not to want her around)

While there was absolutely nothing that we didn't like, for future travellers, bear in mind that this is a shared bathroom (it is stated in booking). But do not let that keep you from coming here at all.

Nickey and Steven are extremely warm and helpful hosts. Our room was very comfortably furnished with a small candy, water bottles and nice welcome greetings. Right next to the room is the bathroom. So open the door of the room and you will be in front of the bathroom. Everything is super clean, with everything you need for your stay. Steve and Nickey are very careful that their guests have privacy. Breakfast is very tasty and sufficient. Scrambled eggs, baron, toast, fruit, .... and not to forget Nickey 's unique pancakes. The accomodation is beautifully located in the nature. It is 10 min drive to Mariposa, an 1 hr drive to Yosemite National Park. If you like a quiet and comfortable accomodation with nice hosts, this is the place for you. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for the nice stay!

The hosts are wonderful and welcoming from the bottom of their hearts. They take care of the smallest details, from the comfort of the shower to the arrangement of the room, which will be as pleasant and personal as possible. The breakfasts were wonderful and delicious. The couple is welcoming and knows how to advise on routes in Yosemite. In short, very worth it

I’d like to point out that the host is super nice and the communication was perfect! Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to Yosemite and weren’t able to stay with the host due to heavy snowfalls. But the host helped us with the communication with booking.com for cancellation. Yosemite is still on our list and we will definitely consider staying with this host when we get another chance!

Great breakfast, easy to find, and very clean. Nickey was a brilliant host and went out of her way to help us.

Didn't realise we would have to share a bathroom- wasn't a problem at all as there were no guests in the other bedroom, but feel it could've been a little clearer on the advert.

The Engvadonia B&B is a gem. We had a wonderful stay in a lovely room, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed, very soft sheets, a tv with Roku, fan and a/c. Lots of storage space, a desk and chair, and lots of sockets for charging appliances. The photos don’t do justice to how lovely the accommodation is! Our bathroom was well equipped, and also very clean. The facilities were fantastic, and the hosts provided everything you could need, and more. Nickey and Steve were the perfect hosts, they made us feel so welcome in their home, and nothing was too much effort. They made us delicious breakfast burritos to take on our very early starts into Yosemite, and made a wonderful homemade breakfast for us to eat there on other days. They gave us lots of helpful information about Yosemite which made our stay even better, and were really helpful even before we arrived with tips and suggestions. I can’t recommend the Engvadonia B&B highly enough, and hope to be back in the future!

It was really nice apartments, owners and their hospitality. We had a possibility to feel like at home. Also breakfast was perfect too. If we come back to Yosemite National Park we will stay at this place and we will take more days. We recommend this place!

Breakfast was varied, and excellent! Choices included a full breakfast of hot scrambled eggs with hash browns and a side of fruit; other options included cereal, eggs, muffins, toast, fruit, as well as juice and coffee or tea.

There was nothing I didn't like. Steve and Nickey entertained us with information about the area, as well as Yosemite National Park. They responded quickly to whatever we needed, yet respected our moments of privately wanting to just "wind down" from our cross-country trip on their very comfortable back patio swing!

Nickey and Steve were incredible hosts! Couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Each day they helped me plan my time in Yosemite and gave me some amazing, "off the beaten path" places to explore! The accommodations were stellar and I could tell they really took the time to create a welcoming, home-like environment for their visitors! Nickey and Steve were also super friendly, the perfect hosts!

Can't think of anything I didn't like!

My stay at Engvadonia was just perfect: the place is lovely and Nickey and Steve are wonderful host who made me feel so welcome at their place, while providing excellent advices on Yosemite park. The place is still quite close to Yosemite while being away from the hassle of the park itself, would definitely recommend it as starting point to visit the park while staying in a quiet and cozy place (though Mariposa do offers some nice restaurants and pubs!).
