Quality Inn Yosemite Valley Gateway

Shane, Robin, Evan, and Ayden were all very helpful, friendly, and professional at the front desk. They accommodated all our needs. The breakfast food and tea selection was excellent and great quality. Our room was comfortable, well-appointed, clean, and quiet. The pool and hot tub were a nice wind down to our day. Overall, our experience was terrific, great location close to town, and a great spot for being picked up by our tour guide. We highly recommend Quality Inn at Yosemite Valley in Mariposa, California for location, staff, quiet room, and nice stay!

For a free continental breakfast, the food was pretty good. I particularly appreciate that there was something savory like eggs and sausages rather than all sweet, which I don't particularly like early in the mornings. I enjoyed the fresh apples too. The premise was clean and quiet. The staff was courteous and helpful.

The bed was not so comfortable, but it wasn't horrifically bad either. I did not appreciate that every time that a nearby toilet was flushed, I could hear it. I'm not sure if the plumbing pipes are shared or that the walls are too thin.

Nicely located in Mariposa, quiet. The room was comfortable with basic amenities and clean. The breakfast options were good. The staff was super helpful, we forgot a few items in the wardrobe and they nicely dealt with the situation and had a package prepared to be shipped back to us.

The aircon was louder that we would prefer. Some outdoor tables and chairs (or picnic benches) would be nice to be able to eat outside (there were chairs and tables in the pool area but not too much light after dark).

For the charming idyllic town of Mariposa, this is a wonderful property, with comfortable and clean rooms, perched on top of a small hillock, with great places to dine and shop just a stones throw away. But the best part of this property is the people who run it on a daily basis. The entire staff was extremely kind and courteous, and accommodated our change of room requirements at check in time very smoothly. Our breakfast was included in the stay. Although the spread was not diverse, the oatmeal and fruits was perfect to get our hiking day started. Will definitely come back to stay here, when visiting Yosemite again.

Checking in was supposed to have a ground floor, but that didn’t get conveyed to the hotel but they accommodated the best they could cut us in a room and wife was able to not have to go up and down a bunch of stairs

The seal around the doors needed to be replaced the door shut and locked, but there were still gaps 

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We just wanted a place to stay the night after hiking in Yosemite and this was it. A lot of place to go eat walking pr short driving distance from the hotel. I did not have much contact to the staff, but when doing check in and check out they were nice.

Hotel located in the walking distance to the "city center" where shop and all restaurants are. Hot jacuzzi, nice to sit there even when it's cold outside. We wanted to prolong our stay and by mistake booked wrong night. They actually couldn't cancel the booking and refund us at once which was weird, but finally they refunded after couple of days.

Laundry was open only from 9AM till 10PM and actually it was occupied whole evening. When we asked if it's possible to do it after or early in the morning, they didn't allow us :(

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, we mentioned we were going to spend the day in Yosemite NP and one of the ladies in the office asked us to stop by the office before we left. We were surprised to find that she had packed us a snack bag full of treats for our day trip. Overall our stay there was a pleasant one.

Breakfast could have been better but understandable considering the pandemic.

Pretty good for 2-stars hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good location in nice small town. Really quiet at night, no cars noise.

I booked 2 rooms (traveled to Yosemity with family). They messed up with reservation, so they gave us a slightly different second room from what I booked. This room was not worse, just 2 queen beds instead of 1 king sized. And check in procedure took around 30 min. Almost nothing for breakfast(

Room was great! Loved the close proximity to restaurants and shops! I've used this same Inn before following a 4-day backpacking trip in Yosemite, and really looked forward to the nice hot shower upon arrival.

We were looking forward to the continental breakfast, but completely understood why it did not happen because of covid safety concerns. But the hot chocolate, muffins and apples were good enough! Thanks!
