Comfort Inn Monterey Peninsula Airport

The staff is excellent. Friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast selection and quality was outstanding. Location was perfect, close to the beach and downtown Monterey, Carmel and Pebble Beach. Quiet and well appointed room. Very clean. Location by airport was surprisingly quiet. Didn't hear a plane until after breakfast. Great stay! My wife and I highly recommend Comfort Inn Monterey Airport. Beautiful garden area. Thank you.

#1... Not only was the toilet & shower/tub in a separate room from the sink; it had its own sink, a total of 2 sinks, with plenty of counter space. #2... Large room with high ceiling & nice view out bay window w. Crecent shaped seat or place to set things. #3... All very clean... zero problems #4... grab bars for tub, and everything about the shower was perfect. We were happy to have housekeeping only one morning. Thanks. They gave a generous supply of good large towels, wash clothes, soap , shampoo, etc to last a number of days.

Very small breakfast room, and only 2 kinds of cereal -- cheereos and fruitloops. Blame Choice Hotels. Beds were just a little on the hard side. Our 2nd floor room had had 20 outside steps to get up to. In one way, the walk up ( w. Nice views) was pleasant, except when we got back after a long day of hiking.

The size of the room was perfect for our family (we had a total of 7 people and booked 2 rooms). We didn't feel crowded. The breakfast was fast and had plenty of options. The grounds were quiet from other noise. The office staff were very nice. A couple hours after checkout, I got a call that my children had left their glasses. The office told me to take my time and that they would have them in the check in/out office for when ever we were able to make it back to pick them up.

I really can't think of anything that we did not like.

Good location, tucked away and quiet but close to downtown and things to do. Clean room, friendly staff and free breakfast is decent. Easy booking, check in and check out. Free parking.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Booked 3 rooms and we were all downstairs. Everyone could hear people above moving around and it was pretty loud. Hotel is older and could use an update.

The room was clean, and the addition of the balcony was very nice. The bed was made nicely and was comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was also a good size for the room, and the toilet had no problems flushing or anything.

The door to our room had a gap in the bottom when closed. I was worried this could let small critters or bugs into the room. The door to our room also when trying to access the room, from the front the door would occasionally get stuck even when unlocked. I also wish the breakfast had more options. Maybe a bagel or even more variety of fresh food and cereal.

Very comfortable location outside of the city, making it a really nice quiet getaway. The airport next to it was not a problem regarding noise. The breakfast was small but they had a good variety of options. Staff were friendly and overall a great experience with a great value.

The breakfast area was a little small and instructions on what to do to check out was not the clearest, but when I asked the staff were friendly enough to help.

I enjoyed the hotel because of how close it was to the several places my girlfriend and I wanted to visit. It was less than an hour away from Big Sur, Monterey Bay Aquarium,McWay Falls, and Mt. Manuel, where we went hiking. In short, we were able enjoy all of these and a few extra stops along the way.

I enjoyed our stay. Nothing bad to say about the location, price, or the hotel we stayed at. The only downside would have to be the breakfast. At this moment, there isn't any except for a paper bag with a bottle of water, a breakfast Hot Pocket, and a granola bar that they hand you at the front desk. I understand that they have to take precautions because of Covid but some eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee would have been nice.

Waited in line for about 15 minutes (at 8pm) while employee trained a new employee. My suite was nicer than I expected with a spacious room, kitchenette and gas fireplace. The fireplace didn't work, however, and when I called down to the front desk, they said they would look into it, but no one ever came. Road noise was very noticeable from my room. KIng bed was VERY comfortable.

Check- in process. Non-functional fireplace. I found fragment of a cheez-it or similar snack food on the floor.

Great hotel for Laguna Seca and literally 1/2 mile from the Monterey airport. Nice staff, quiet place, good beds, nice large bathroom, nice deck, tons of TV channels, fast internet.

Maid twice coming into our room or knocking on the door while our do not disturb sign was up, and when confronted at 10:40am, she yelled at me "Checkout is at 11am". Wasn't 11am yet, and we had arranged late checkout. Hotel comp'd our late checkout for the trouble. Management was very caring. No AC, which was a surprise and sadly will likely keep us from coming back, as we like to have a cool room. With AC, this place would be amazing and we'd stay here every time (we come three times per year for work).

I like the breakfast and the clean rooms and the parking and quiet place

What I don't like is that they cleaned the room one day yes and one day no. I wanted it to be cleaned daily and the other thing I didn't like was that the mattresses weren't comfortable, but everything else was fine
