the hotel gives right value for the money paid. Room has comfortable bed, microwave, refrigerator, ac/heater and small table. the room was clean, close proximity to Monterey, Carmel. Taco Bell across the street and many other eateries within 5 mins of walking.

only complaint that they didnt have blanket. but the front desk staff gave us the extra sheet. We did have heater in room and it was little noisy which is why we preferred blanket. Also, if the bikes passed by we could hear it in the room. The rooms seemed like thin wall. You can hear the person from adjoining room. People having trouble with noise would suggest to take room far from roadside.

Everything was clean and cozy. Awesome balcony was a nice bonus. Showers were nice got hot quickly and was easy to use. Great location. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores to walk to and the beach access wasn't far either.

The shower water pressure was weak. The exhaust fan was weak and was ineffective for getting stinks or the steam for the shower out of the room.

Very Comfortable, 10 Min. from the wharf and downtown. Food market and target right behind our motel. Oh, Macdonalds too. Nice pool. Would recomend this motel and stay here again. Seaside is less expensive and just as nice as rooms in Monterey and just a close. Very helpful and nice staff.

Old towels need to be rotated out, some were brownish. They must of had a party in this room, evidence of fireworks shot from balcony, cig butts and a slight smell of smoke in room which was aiired out by the nice cross breeze from the balcony and front door. Little noisy from the road if you have the doors open. Slept like a baby.

Small, quaint lodge. The location is perfect, close to all attractions in the area. Lodge was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We will stay here again.

I realize this isn't anyone's fault, but the elevator "broke" on the third day of our visit. We had to lug all our luggage down three flights of stairs. That being said, it was a minor inconvenience, just wish they could've fixed it sooner.

it was very clean and roomy the heater was so warm and toasty the bed was so comfortable I really liked the fact that I got an upstairs room with a bit of a view and it’s location was either a 15 minute to a 45 minute drive from Santa Cruz and the aquarium and minutes away from restaurants and gas stations and the price was so on my budget

I just was hoping for better water pressure and more towels but other than that a great place to stay

Aside from the pet deposit situation everything else was good

I didn't like that they charge you 30 dollars for a pet per pet up to 2 pets per night instead of just charging one flat rate, along with the fact that it's not given back when you leave,, if the room isn't damaged it should be given back just like any other deposit, I've been to plenty of other places that will give you back your deposit when you leave as long as the room is in the same condition as it was when you arrived.

Breakfast was not served I think it would have been nice to have breakfast I like that the price for the rooms matched and that there was no resistance in getting extra towels for our room

I would have enjoyed having a free continental breakfast more channels on the TV

Room was clean and roomy. Shower stall is also spacious. Convenient location to the Wharf.

The receptionist could be more polite. The window needs a liner curtain for privacy.

The room was clean and neat; the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room looked out on the pool so there was little privacy afforded when the shades were open.

Room was clean, close from the places I will go to visit, 10 min from the aquarium, stores, restaurants very close, comfortable beds, pool also was clean, quiet at night, friendly staff, I definitely will stay here next time.
