Best Western Orange Plaza

It is very close to Disneyland, Angel's Stadium, Convention Center, The Orange Circle, etc The closer the better because the traffic in the entire region is dreadful. We were there to visit someone at the UCI Med Center which is also very close. The motel serves a standard faire full breakfast served by very friendly and accommodating attendants. It was good. The coffee was excellent. The rooms look like they were recently upgraded.

The traffic! I booked this room in a hurry and wasn't aware that it was a 2-story motel without an elevator. We had a second story room because I didn't think to request one downstairs. That was a problem for us because we are both in our 70's with some debilitating conditions. Consequently, taking our luggage up and down the stairs was an ordeal. Unless requested otherwise they only clean the rooms every other day. The first night I walked across the floor in white socks and they were immediately gummy & dirty. At our request it was cleaned between nights on our 2-night stay.

The room was newly remodeled and really beautiful. Very, very clean and comfortable. The updated bathroom was a real plus. The hot breakfast was also very much appreciated.

There were two misses for me. First, I wish the air conditioning had been updated with the rooms. The wall unit was obviously older. It was a hot day and evening, and the noise from the air conditioner made sleeping harder. Second, I arrived earlier than planned. I was told they would call when my room was ready but it would be $20 extra to check in sooner. This was disappointing. I’ve stayed at many Best Western hotels in my travels. On a couple of occasions I’ve arrived early, but I’ve never been penalized for doing so. With so many other hotels in the area, I will rethink staying here again.

I love hard surface floors in a hotel room. This hotel has them. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Very close and easy to get to Honda Center.

I went in to get coffee, and I was unsure if I should, or if I needed to wait in line for the one person assigned to work in the breakfast room. It seemed as though they were taking a custom order for an omelette from another guest. I got two cups of coffee, and decided I was not going to even try to figure out how to get something lite for my family to eat. We bought food elsewhere. Either have full wait staff and cooks, or let guests take care of themselves, but requiring people y que up for all service to be completed by one person is ridiculous.

The location was extremely convenient and the area was clean and safe! It's a nice city; basically, it's a high-class city without a crazy amount of construction, traffic, and trash scattered everywhere. Cindy was SO helpful, kind, and welcoming - we felt safe and cared for. The rooms are updated and look so fresh! Hardwood floors, marble counters, classy headboard, and a very nice television! I loved the Argan oil shampoo/conditioner/body wash because it didn't dry out my hair like EVERYOTHERHOTELIN THEWORLD! The exterior of the hotel was also very clean and quiet.

I wouldn't say that I didn't like it, I'd say that the updates to the hotel were very good and made a great impression and I noticed that, while many updates were made, the bathroom could have been more updated with new fixtures and a new bath tub, maybe adding a stronger fan. The air conditioning worked very well and maybe too well at times. There weren't any spare blankets and the bedding layers were very thin, so we were cold at times and couldn't successfully turn down the air unit.

Free breakfast (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, toast, bagels, bacon, yogurt, cereal, potatoes, waffles). You could eat there or order it to go. Rooms were very clean and renovated, looked new. The neighbordhood surrounding it was really nice as well. Dollar tree, Marshall's,CVS, gas station, and restaurants closeby. 15 mins away from Disneyland. Rooms had a fridge, hair dryer, iron/iron board, and coffee maker. They had a microwave in the lobby that you could use 24/7 as well. Newport beach is closeby and you could do whale watching. 45 mins from Universal Studios. Will stay here everytime I visit California.

My first impression was the cleanliness of the room AND the large refrigerator! All of the amenities in the room were to my satisfaction e.g. large t.v., comfortable bed but the icing on the cake was that makeup light! Such a smart touch! Moreover, your front desk daytime staff members are to be commended for their friendliness and helpfulness!!

I was so impressed with the fridge but wished there was a microwave in the room (one is located in the lobby). I was also disappointed in the fact that the only hot food available for breakfast (other than make your own waffles) was potatoes and beans. I was looking forward to some eggs and bacon or sausage. That being said, there was a large variety of your every day cereals, bagels, bread and muffins if you prefer (which I don't).

Very Good. Good service. The food was very good, don't miss the omelette. It was the perfect breakfast to start the day.

There was a bit of noise in the lobby , the TV was always switched on. I had the need to use the computer room for a Conference Call later in the night and Ihave been a bit of disappointment because the hotel concierge kept the TV too loud

They made every effort to accommodate my needs to care for my husband. The room were clean and comfortable. And yes I did the wipe test, very clean. During our stay my husband's time in the hospital after surgery was extended and Michael did everything to give us the same rate and accommodations. Their breakfast superb and the server excellent. They really helped us to relax through this difficult time. Our family is dealing with a child's death and that death bringing on a heart attack to my husband causes 2 surgeries. So yes loved this location and staff

Great location, staff was kind and welcoming, room was great size

The pillows were small and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was served by a very nice lady but it would have been nice to serve ourselves. It was hard to see everything available and we felt we couldn’t get what we wanted served how we wanted it since we wanted to make it easier on the lady serving us. It also made breakfast take a lot longer than expected since we had to wait for her to finish servings others and then our family one at a time.

Very clean and prepared room. Nice looking furniture. I liked the paneled floors. The breakfast room had a nice selection of food items to choose from.

The bed mattress was mushy. The mattress sagged when I sat on the side of the bed. I was in room 106. When I laid down to sleep the bed sagged at my hips and legs. There were 4 pillows. All of them were extra long and very rounded. They were not comfortable for my head and not easy to put under my knees for support.
