Extended Stay America Suites - Orange County - Katella Ave

The location of this hotel was perfect for us attending both Disneyland & Star Wars Celebration. You will need a car to get to this hotel but the area is nice and mostly quite set between a large movie theater, and restaurants. This hotel worked great for us as it had a large fridge and an area for us to prepare our snacks and meals. Laundry services were very convenient after a long day at Disney.

The only thing I disliked was the AC unit would cut off often. I assume to save energy, but it was very loud and annoying.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The two ladies at the front desk were polite and helped us check in, Tanya and Jasmine has really nice, polite customer service and as my friend and I were not from the area, they helped with recommendations on where to go that was walking distance. There were also 2 other ladies who were very nice. I believe one was called Isabel. Everyone was very helpful when we checked out as we had a few hours to spend before getting a train and looked after our luggage as we went out for something to eat.

That it was raining when we left but that's is nothing you can control :)

Within walking distance of the Honda Arena

We came into the lobby and before i could say anything, the woman behind the counter said, there's no rooms ready for check in. Not five minutes later a group came in and THEY WERE TREATED KINDLY, POLITELY, AND GUESS WHAT? MULTIPLE ROOMS WERE READY!!! I got in line to ask what happened to rooms not being available, and she rolled her eyes and checked me in. Not sure what that was all about, but it was rude and didn't make any sense at all.

location was convenient for going to Disneyland & the businesses around were nice & available

the rooms seemed a bit run down & our appliances were placed in incorrectly( refrigerator doors were backwards for their location )/ TV remote didn’t work ( we got another from front desk) the bathroom was very poorly cleaned , apparatus to operate shower was broken / found a razor blade & empty beverage cup under the bed. paint was splattered on the floors in bath & kitchen & even on the leather recliner in the room from painting walls but not cleaning up spills !!

Luggage cart.. free wifi..free parking (adequate parking).. safe area.. location was great (nearby several restaurants and a movie theater) and took us 30 minutes to get to Newport Beach .. tge kitchenette was perfect for us.. friendly staff (no issues).. easy check in and check out.. elevators worked.. no bugs and no bad smell in room.. AC was working good.. Overall.. great stay.. would stay again if in the area..

There wasnt a pool or jacuzzi (we knew that before going though) and the free continental breakfast was something but not great at all (oatmeal.. dry packaged muffins.. granola bars.. and coofee/tea/hot chocolate).. there was only one chair at the table which they called a desk..if you needed more towels or sheets you had to take your used stuff to the lobby (not very convenient).. And there way a funky smell in the halls and lobby but Overall.. great stay.. would stay again if in that area.

The hotel is walking distance to a starbucks and a couple of restaurants. We stayed 5 days, took kids to disney which was only 10 mins from place. Its full kitchen was perfect for my kids and I. This is a great place would stay there again if need too.

not much of an inconvenience but I had to ask for pans/plates/utensils. I assumed they would be in the room. That's the only "negative" I can think of

FIRST - Staff was amazing! Hospitable, attentive and overall felt that they enjoyed their job. Also, I loved that I could see my car from our window; location was great in that the mall/movie theatre/ and STARBUCKS was right there

Tub faucet was REALLY hard to turn off and dripped pretty bad and I would have liked the water to get a little hotter. Oh and no coffee pot ... that was a bummer.

It was clean and quiet. it was the perfect place after a concert at honda center we walked back to the hotel and had a wonderful night's rest

Honestly I don't have any complaints.

Loved location next to Honda theater We loved area for things to do and eat

Well the floors were very weird they got our socks and feet black I think from built on cleaner dirt and disappointed there was not a pool

convenient location for moving my daughter in to college at Chapman. Nice movie theater and restaurants in same complex. mini kitchen in room which I did not use. breakfast included.

I found hair in the shower. No hair dryer. Could hear neighbors through the wall.
