The Inn at Deep Canyon

Very nice property with clean rooms, spacious pool area with excellent hours (though located in front of the majority of the rooms), and very kind and communicative staff who worked with me to arrange options for a late check-in. Additionally, there were several beautiful cats around the property being fed, making it an extra friendly environment (and naturally keeping the pests away). Ideal stay if looking to spend the night in Palm Desert while exploring attractions during the day.

My only regret is that prices for every stay in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and La Quinta were nearly twice of what they should be, most likely due to a very large volume of tourists visiting for the prestigious Indian Wells Tennis Tournament.

for around 7 years we have been coming to palm desert and staying at the inn. Here and there we have tried other places for a few days at a time, but always return here. It feels like a home away from home. The rooms are clean and well maintained, you have access to a shared pool and hot tub, any multiple bbq’s for your personal use. We have met people from all around the world who have shared their travels and all feel the same. Everyone is comfortable at the inn. Close by to all amenities , restaurants , shopping and great happy hours. If you want to know where to go ask Kevin! He has always been kind, happy and willing to help! lets you know where to go and when. We most recently stayed for a bike trip in indio that went terribly wrong and were left without a place to stay. We called the Inn and kevin once again came to the rescue. He helped ensure our vacation was a positive one.

The room was a good size and had a mini-kitchen and a balcony with a couple of chairs. The staff was very nice and the room was spacious. The property has a big pool. The property is small, so not an impersonal megaplex.

The bathroom sink/counterspace was small and the showerhead in the bathtub didn't have a concentrated flow - it sprayed in all directions. The windows must be single pane because we could hear everything outside such as conversations and traffic (the hotel backs up to a busy road). Was over $600 for a two-night stay.

This establishment far exceeded our expectations and in the same way we communicated and appreciated it at the reception during our check-out. It has been a shame having our vacations completely planned and not being able to make any last minute changes; We booked just one night at The Inn at Deep Canyon and were so impressed with the place that we wish we could have stayed more nights. The town and the area are very good and the establishment itself, unbeatable. Upon check-in, Kevin was very kind, friendly and available (really appreciated!!). The room was beautiful, very clean, decorated and well maintained, with very nice and appreciated decorative details. All the necessary utensils for a complete stay: large bathroom, shower and bathtub, extra-large closet, two extra-large beds, large refrigerator and TV, coffee maker, microwave, etc. Wide balcony with views of the pool and the mountains. We highly recommend this accommodation. We would love to come back and stay longer. Warm greetings to all the staff and thanks for everything.

A nice surprise! Pleasant and clean, has a smallish Inn-like feeling, nice landscaping. On a quiet side street just off main road. Rooms arranged around a central pool & Jacuzzi with chairs, tables, lounges. Property is gated with adjacent parking outside. Felt safe at all times. Two stories, most have balconies (upper) or doors (lower) opening to inside pool courtyard. Top floor has nice view of pool and mountains. Room 208 was very large, two queen beds, clean, attractive decor and appliances, clean and spacious remodeled bathroom & dressing area. Everything worked! Had the feel of a much more expensive place, almost an apartment. Good balcony with chairs & table for relaxing/eating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful especially considering spring break had started. Somewhat close on back end to adjacent businesses, but mostly hidden by landscaping and still quiet. View is out other side toward courtyard & pool anyway. Short walk to fast food, pizza, supermarkets. Cactus Jack's Bar & Grill (great food!!) across the street, John's Restaurant a block away. Short distance to highly recommended Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. All the shopping & restaurants you could ask for within a few miles. Some places opening up for limited indoor dining. Approx. 20 min to airport in early morning. We'll definitely be back again!

Parking was a bit tight. A breakfast option would suit this place well, there are nice places to sit around the pool. Bath tub/shower water switch a bit of a mystery until we discovered the instructions on the wall! Really nothing at all to complain about.

The room was neat and very accommodating. Nice coffee selection. The pool and jacuzzi were great!

The kitchen cupboards were very high. I am 6'3" tall and could barely reach the coffee cups. The microwave was so high it was unusable for the average height human. I can see a chair being used as a stool and the opportunity for disaster is there. The ac unit was so low my wife at 5'3" tall had to almost lay down to read the directions. Plus, the vents were directly pointed at the bed.

Pool was great, ultra clean, temp just right, large bathroom, fan in the room we left on all the time we were in the room, very quiet.

Make sure you don't get assigned to room 117, right by pool gate, everyone slams it, this room right next to that gate. They could get one of those "soft close" gates to alleviate the issue...

The place was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely be staying here again. We actually got a room upgrade because we needed a pet friendly room. It was great all around.

I think the only issue is the people above us were a bit noisy at times, usually I don't mind too much but it made my cats jumpy. I don't think it was too big of a deal though.

We were heading home near the end of a road trip. Although too tired to fully enjoy the ambience of the inn, we got the rest we needed and enjoyed seeing the beauty of the nicely maintained gardens and pool area. Our room was updated, as requested....everything working well, including an efficient and quiet air conditioner. Lovely small inn, very comfortable room.

Our room was by one of two gates from the parking area. Although it was convenient for getting our stuff to and from our car, the comings and goings of others was noisy at times. All quiet by 10 pm though, and we got a good night of sleep.

Great Room, very well located, towels available for the pool and awesome hot tub! We booked the room a couple of hours before arriving as we were making our way to Coachella and where super happy with the stay. We arrived quite late and the reception was still open, everything went smoothly. I definitely recommend it.

Everything was fine, we book it last minute and where happy to find a good clean place for a reasonable price
