SpringHill Suites by Marriott Palm Desert

First time to stay at this hotel and I was happy with the room. Nice design, the bed was comfortable (I slept well) and I like how the hotel supplies a good size bottle each of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The tv had good selection of channels and I appreciated the personal greeting on the screen upon arrival and departure. The location was great.

Breakfast was ok. Good choices of beverages but I wish there was a variety of freshly cooked food like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Lastly, the bathroom lights would turn off after a short amount of time. It was just an inconvenience to step out in the middle of ones shower just to turn it back on.

excellent location with Walmart two minutes by walking, nice restaurant 100 meters also other shops.

A little bit dark in the room with dark color decoration not meeting kids taste. Room close to main road so not quite enough in the evening especially early morning if you want a lazy day.

I was impressed with the open concept design. The room was spacious and had a sizable couch area with a desk that had movable smoked glass panels to separate the area for some privacy. The breakfast had a variety of choices.

The toilet was lower to the ground than I’m used to. Maybe a handrail for older guests.

I have stayed at this motel many times BUT I always had to leave st 6:15, which before breakfast. I always ask for at least SOMETHING to be available at 6:15 but never was offered anything. The recrptionist said that SOMETHING would be available.. but it never is. That is VERY disappointing.

The beds were comfy and the room was spacious. The roomkeeping did well with keeping things clean.

Poor breakfast spread. They had a cheese spinach quiche 3 days in a row. One staff member felt off towards me.

The free breakfast was awesome. Little glass jars of Nutella with your waffle was the cutest. Also the room was so nice. Very quiet I was not disturbed by neighbors or any loud noise. The staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable.

There was a smell in the hallway but i think it's cause the neighbors left some trash out and the housekeepers didn't take it. Also the towel they give you for the pool was very small. The water pressure in the shower was a little low.

Nice sized clean rooms. Comfy beds and decent A/C. Pool looked good but never got a chance to use it.

Breakfast! All the apples were bruised, bananas needed throwing out. Very limited choice. We watched the fruit get put away in the cupboards underneath ready for the next day...explains why it was not fresh.

Room was spacious.

Was asked twice if we wanted housekeeping and said yes. Housekeeping never came. Air/heat unit was way too loud and you can’t turn it off. Hard to sleep with so much noise right next to the bed. No towel racks to hand up wet towels.

Very good staff. When we needed assistance, it was instantaneous. Also, the breakfast was excellent. They had a very good selection of breakfast items.

Awesome bathroom/shower. Large elevator. Wonderful breakfast. Extremely well maintained contemporary design of the entire facility. Great comfortable bed. Very accommodating friendly staff.
