Motel 6-Palm Springs, CA - Downtown

Exactly what you would hope for in a budget motel - relatively quiet, well maintained, nice staff, amenities like pool, laundry and snack machines. Being within a 10 minute walk from downtown was the motel's main feature for me. If a comfortable resting place without the frills is for you, you won't be disappointed here.

Not the most comfortable bed in the world, but then I wasn't expecting too much given the room rate, so all good there. An extra blanket left in the room would have been nice, and a microwave and/or fridge in the room even better. Still, minor inconveniences at best.

Front desk Hispanic girl is really helpful and responsive. Housekeeping is prompt at resolving concerns and with initiative. I was assigned the right room for my type of personality thank you so much.

The mattresses are more comfortable in a 3rd world country 3☆ hotel. Even for a 2☆ hotel those matts are just ready for recycling ♻️. I slept on the original matt only the first of my 3 nights stay, my back was hustled all night by that old and used up mattress, second night I had to sleep on the floor (it was a lot better for my back than your bed). When I brought my problem to the front desk the next day it was fixed almost immediately (my back and legs thank you!).

Location pool Jacuzzi coffee in the morning on the staff is amazing the ladies that man the guest know that I'm blind and they go above and beyond are so protective of me and sweet and thoughtful and you couldn't ask for better hotel staff to check you in shape into your room and make you feel confident that everything is good news ladies really work but often I hope you're appreciated by the new owners

No refrigerators or microwaves or hairdryers in the rooms the boxes Villaronga televisions are supposed to give access to VGA low-key myself none of them work at any of the rooms and it really prevents me from hook up my laptop or something up to the TV while I'm there

The energy that the staff brought was just great it made me want to continue to stay the staff and the managers are very concerned with what was going around the hotel it was just great

The ice machine was broken but even then we still had ice everyday things to the manager they do need to get in touch with watch connect for new washers and dryers

Staff is always friendly and helpful. After checking in we went out for the evening and when we returned to our room we discovered our A/C was not working. We called the front desk and the staff immediately came to our room and helped us move to another room and made sure the A/C was working properly. Angel was very kind and professional. She was our angel that evening!

Would like to see some security, even roaming security would be good.

Staff was accommodating and kind. I met nearly every front desk person by the time my stay was over and every single person was cool, pleasant and quick at their job. I extended my stay 4 times, meaning, I reserved and rented 5 nights, one day at a time. Every morning I had to go to the front desk to re-do the check-in process and every morning instead of "annoyed" and "irritated" I was met with "accommodating" and "kind" employees.

Great location for an awesome price! Staff were really cool & allowed us to check in way early so we didn't have to wait hours, which was nice after a 10 hour trip in a car packed to max w/bags.

The room was definitely very small and felt crowded w/my 2 children and myself, and our 3 bags. Luckily, we had no plans to sit around in the room and were gone except to sleep so it wasn't a big deal.

I like being right smack in the middle of downtown in one of the most exciting cities in the world.

The nearby Starbucks had closed. Jack in the Box and Colonel Sanders only offering drive through. No problem since Palm Springs has enough eateries for the tourist masses, even 5 one-star Michelin spots.

Friendly helpful staff Good coffee Frig was very handy Had access to a microwave for my popcorn 🍿 Great scenic views of surrounding mountains and desert

Elevator was a hot mess. Luckily stairs were handy, except for moving my luggage to 3rd floor, I always used the stairs.

I was greeted at the front desk by gentleman named Isaiah. He once again was most professional and made my onboard a very pleasant experience. Upon my second night Isaiah found my room to make sure that everything was up to my standards and it really made me feel welcome. If I do come back it would be because of his hospitality for sure. He's a good one!
