Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel

Location is perfect and the property is really nice. When we ckd in they didn’t have a a balcony room like I requested when I booked so they upgraded me to a suite with a balcony at no extra charge which I thought was great!

When we got to the room the shower wasn’t working right- almost no water was coming through the shower head. And the sink wasn’t draining. They sent someone to fix while we were out and about and when we returned to our room our door was left open-not unlocked but open. Called the front desk and they said the maintenance guy couldn’t close our door?? Not a good reason. My husband was so mad that all our stuff was out there for anyone to take. House keeping wasn’t available to clean your room until Ck out due to covid which I understand but when you ask one of the housekeepers that we’re right outside your door for towels, toilet paper etc they said you have to call the front desk which made it a few hours until you got them.

The hotel is located a quick walk away from the main strip, though I wouldn't recommend the walk in the scorching heat. It is a lovely, clean hotel with a luxurious ambience. The big, spacious, outdoor pool has plenty of seating available and a bar in the pool area, with a waiter walking around delivering drinks. Our room was very clean. It had a mini fridge, a nice size TV with accessible AV plugs and there were plenty of USB charging ports in the room. The enjoyable view from our room was of the pool area. All encountered staff were very friendly.

Food options inside the hotel in the evening were limited and there weren't any functioning eating establishments just outside the door.

The facility it self was clean and the room was nice. Bed was comfy and big.

The pool was closed when we checked in, we were looking forward to a night swim (bummer😕) The halls and elevators were very hot and stuffy. Nothing to watch on TV. No movie channels. Wish they had smart tv's so that guests may log into or stream Netflix, Disney+, HBOmax ect... accounts.

The pool was lovely and the serving staff around the pool were excellent and friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Oh and the body wash was bomb!

The first room we stayed in smelt like cigarette smoke and the Air condition unit was so loud it kept us up all night. In the nook called to switch rooms and they provided a new room that was an upgrade from the one we were staying in.

The pool area was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. The service around the pool was good, the people that worked the pool area was comforting and available if you needed them. I will be coming back and bringing friends to enjoy the comfort and the welcoming him committee of the hotel to see for themselves.

I don’t have anything bad to say, I really enjoyed myself, so I have nothing bad to say.

Great location to walk to downtown, beautiful pool that was clean and large, very friendly pool bartenders, especially Matt and Jeanetta and the beautiful mountain and palm trees made for a daily dose of relaxation. We had a pool view king suite with a sitting area and a large balcony overlooking the pool. Bed /pillows were comfortable. Good refrigerator to hold drinks and food.

Water pressure is the shower was very low, there was not good exhaust so things got a little steamy. The restaurant served breakfast but had a limited menu otherwise which I presume was due to Covid. Note there is a parking fee of $35 daily although this was mentioned in the booking.

Stayed here for Coachella. The room was clean and spacious. Quite enjoyed the pool at the property.

The sink made a strange noice right after you turn off the water, but it didn't bother me much. The location is convenient, but walking alone at night to the downtown area was pretty scary, so I mostly ubered.

The pool area was nice and large. Staff was super friendly and helpful and were quick to get us to a room where the air worked. Place was clean though seemed a little dated in some areas.

Not enough shade or staff to work the pool area. The Buffet was a little disappointing for it being such a pretty hotel. Pancakes were hard and parfait was frozen bricks.

Good location 3 min drive from the main street, nice lobby with sitting areas and lobby bar. Rooms with pool view for no extra charge, comfortable beds, balcony.

The water in the pool irritating caused red eyes and provoked moderate to severe allergic reaction in me and my family members (treatment needed). The pool is desant size but when the hotel in full or near full capacity the pool is too crowded. The rooms not being cleaned due to the Covid and a wait time for extra towels took a couple of hours. The bed linings oversized and it make them uncomfortable to sleep with.

Both hotel rooms (our family had two rooms) were exceptionally clean and the beds very comfortable. We liked the late 11am checkout. Very nice pool area with towels available to guests, umbrellas between every 3 to 4 lounges. Really wish the pool stayed open past 8pm but we understand it's hard to staff during these times. Some maintenance needs to be done to the pool itself. Tile missing in some spots and the deck had chipping paint in some areas. Pool was clean and very large. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel lobby and common areas are very nice including bar area. All in all, a very good stay. 9/10

Upon arrival we had a problem with our room ac not working. Went downstairs to front desk and they called a technician to look at it to try and fix. We went back upstairs to wait. After waiting about 20 mins tech hadn't shown up yet and our room was sweltering. The outdoor temp was 120. We went back to downstairs and front desk staff offered us a new room instead of waiting. The room was upgraded and so spacious. Front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating We appreciated them making it right.
