Good location. The room was mostly very modern which was appreciated. I was very close to the road so it was a bit noisy when trying to sleep but not terrible. The check-in process was so straightforward, making it easier to check in. I would recommend staying here.

The check-in process was so straightforward, making it easier to check in. I was on my own and it was difficult to see whether the door was locked or not but luckily there was a catch at the top of the door.

We did not have breakfast because I did not know if breakfast was included - I did not go to the small lobby to see. In any case, the room was exceptionally clean. It also smelled fresh and void of those carpet detergent and disinfectant smells that usually make me sick when I visit other hotels like the four-star SFO airport Waterfront Marriott. The best part was being able to park the car directly in front of the room. The Marriott charged $40.00 per night to self-park the car where space was only available about 1/4 mile away on the bay during a terrible rainstorm. The Kasa bathroom window opened and allowed fresh air in which is a bonus! The Marriott windows were locked shut and the air was disgustingly stale. The Kasa wall heater/air conditioner was sufficient for us and we had complete control of the settings. I had trouble getting the temperature right and requested a service and they replied Right Away! The water pressure in the modern shower was great (and we were not forced to shower in a gross bathtub like we had to at the Marriott). Kasa left us very appreciated free water bottles and cookies. (The Marriot left a small bottle of Arrowhead water and a charge sign for $7.00.) The amazing spa products they generously provide in large pump bottles were over the top (and they were not chained to the tile like they do in the Marriott) There was a very large closet and an iron and a hairdryer in New Condition. The Nespresso machine was a fancy bonus. A cute pink mini fridge and microwave were so appreciated. Free Internet and Netflix! unlike Marriott$ The room is large, and the beds are memory foam. The crispy white sheets and blankets were cozy. I would say most important is the fact the floor was not wall to wall carpet. This tells me that there were no nasty stains covered up with deodorants and cancerous solvents after each guest. I could walk barefoot; it was so clean.

Loved the newly renovated room and the cleanliness of the space. The bed was very comfortable, and they had a great mini fridge, microwave, and tea kettle. The TV works if you have a subscription to any streaming service (Netflix, HBO, Youtube, etc.). Also, the water pressure in the shower was great.

I wish their towels were larger and thicker, and that they provided a better bathroom matt. There isn't live staff onsite, so if you have an issue you need to call or text the hotel. They are quick to respond, though at around 8pm I did have to wait outside their lobby for a good 10 min until they sent me the door code.

I like this place... Not too far from campus or University Ave, and the beds were comfy. They had a good entertainment system, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

You can tell it's a remodeled old building... the sealing around the doors and windows is poor... you can see the light and feel the air through the gaps. Also, if you're on the bottom floor, you get to hear the floor creaks of the room above you. And the walls are very thin, so conversations are easy to overhear. Thankfully, people were hushhush so that wasn't too much of an issue.

My partner had to have stomach surgery at Stanford hospital this was one of the good ones not only did they give us a early check in but when my partner got out of surgery and came back she couldn’t make it up the stairs the owner had no problem giving us a downstairs room as he had one vacant he even helped me get her into the room thank you for the kind hospitality

Not a big issue for most but if your a gamer like myself The Wi-Fi was tricky and couldn’t hook up my ps5 like I normally do with other Wi-Fi but like I said no big issue my phone was able to use Wi-Fi 😊

The bed was fantastically comfy and so were the pillows!! Room was super spotlessly clean. Staff was so sweet and accommodating. Great cable TV with all the channels. Easy walking access to fast food, three or four restaurants and a bakery, and a sandwich place. Close to stores, and handy for Stanford.

Wet room shower was a little weird as it sprayed the whole floor wet. Room was a little on the small side. Closest store on foot was overpriced and understocked (sandwich shop), so that was a bit disappointing. The biggest downside was that the place has no grassy area, patio or outdoor seating area at all (except 3 chairs squashed on the small upper balcony right outside peoples’ rooms) which was too bad. So it’s basically just an open parking lot. They could do so much with that space. If they would just put in a pool or even just a cute little patio feature with a little gazebo, this would be my top pick for Palo Alto. As it is, I’d probably still come back for the cleanliness, the kindliness of the staff and oh those comfy beds and pillows!!

Good job of rehabbing an elderly hotel to comfy, updated standards. Very clean. quiet. Liked the safe. If I lose my laptop, I'm in trouble. Nice linens and mattress

There's a crack and piece missing from the bathroom window [room 106]. Charging $75 to return something missing is just unfriendly. Suggest you create mechanism to tip the room cleaner electronically.

It was very clean. Updated. It had everything we needed. Very easy check in process. Probably the easiest ever. Parking was great. Loved the keyless entry.

The bed was a little too hard for my taste. A little low. But that is just preference. No pool or hot tub or anything. But we were gone most of the time anyways.

The office staff was friendly & accommodating. I found the cable channel selections to be good, the bed to be comfortable, & the room to be very clean. The location was great since it is located on the main drag in Palo Alto, so it is very convenient to everything. There is free WiFi as well. I would stay at this hotel again.

I asked to be on the first floor because I had a lot to unload from my car. It was very convenient in terms of location to unload everything to my room; however, last night someone checked into the room above mine, & I could hear every step to the point of it being very annoying. That is my only complaint about this property. I turned up the volume on the television to wipe out the pitter patter, & probably annoyed someone else by turning up the volume to deal with the situation.
