Just passing through on a drive down the California coast. Last minute booking turned out to be easy, convenient, and perfect for a night of rest. Would have loved to stay to enjoy the property longer- will definitely be back for an intentional vacation to this property. Owners are lovely. Manager quickly whipped us up some food since we got in after most restaurants were closed. Best service, beautiful property

Shane was an awesome host. The property was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were very clean and welcoming. Very close to Sensorio light show which was the reason for our travel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to this area!

I LOVED the deep jetted tub in the room. I LOVED that it had a pool and spa outside with the manicured landscaping. It was a bit chilly to use it but I'll definitely be back to try it. The million dollar views from every room. Also...they've got sheep and goats on the premise you can pet!!! They got a game room with a pool table and flat arcade table. I missed out on the wine and cheese time (poor planning on my part) but breakfast was AMAZING!

I didn't like that I only booked one night there. I wish I could afford a week there. Just gotta plan better. I'm pretty spontaneous with my trips. But really..no complaints about the venue or staff.

Location great I love the country. Internet service was good. Excellent happy hour rink and eats. Great access to wineries.

Few property items need to be addressed. Hot tub cover worn out. Shade / wind screen in back of outdoor pizza oven hanging and looking shabby. TV satellite feed spotty.

The privacy, the quiet, the comfort, the view, the pool.

We expected more from the breakfast and the wine hour hors d’oeuvres. Very meager, I expected more options/food overall. I didn’t realize we needed to bring drinks/snacks to supplement.

They provided us with a private Chef with whatever we wanted to eat. It was a 5 star experience. Chef Michael is awesome and took excellent care of us. Randy who was in charge of the property also made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. You can't go wrong staying here, we will be back. Almost forgot there are Jacuzzi's in each room. I almost forgot I would personally like to thank Lane the owner of the property who would keep in touch to make sure all of our expectations were met, they were exceeded. Thanks again to everyone at High Ridge Manor.

We had to leave

The furnishings were great and the kitchen well stocked. Nice towels. The view is wonderful and the location remote and quiet. We saw many deer while having some wine on the patio. Overall this is a really nice place and with a couple of minor adjustments it could be fabulous.

There were no TV instructions and we couldn't get any TV. We did get Netflix finally. The queen bed was not very comfortable and did not have independent coils so every time we rolled over the other person could feel it. There is plenty of room for a king bed. The guest book is full and needs to be replaced.

The staff here are fantastic, engaging and personable. We had dinner and it was both tasty and a fun experience. The views from the ridge are phenomenal. Very well appointed room.

I didn't care for the pillows, but as we were preparing to leave I found others in the closet that I could have used. We had some trouble with the thermostat.

The breakfast was delicious. It included a yogurt granola parfait. Then there was french toast with peaches syrup and sugar, served with bacon. It included coffee, orange juice and mango juice.

The bathroom had a burned out light bulb and the hallway also had a burned out light bulb. The first night we went to use the Jacuzzi and the heater didn't work. That was okay because we had a room which had jacuzzi hot tub. We used that instead. It was excellent.

We’re long-time visitors to Paso and this is the loveliest place we’ve stayed, pretty much the perfect Paso place, totally fit to the environment, the valley view of your dreams, friendly family owned and operated, highest recommendation!
