Hampton Inn Riverside Downtown

The breakfast was good. A large selection of items.

We weren't told before we booked that there would be an additional charge for daily parking. We asked for more tissues in our room and never received any. Also, I don't know if anyone was supposed to come in and tidy up the room; but that never happened. This made the tip envelope on left in our room a moot issue. I was also curious why we couldn't download any streaming apps onto the TV. Since there are a lot of local businesses and restaurants it might be worthwhile to offer some discounts to those using the motel.

The rooms are large and very nice...updated and modern. It's within walking distance to everything in Downtown Riverside. The bathroom had the farmhouse style door which is nice. The staff is soooooo nice! The price is extremely competitive, as compared to the other hotels nearby. You get a better value staying here. Comes with Breakfast! Did I mention the complimentary coffee and tea is a plus downstairs. And I believe there is a beer dispensary. I liked everything. I will be staying at this hotel more. This is more of a catch 22. Parking is on the higher end, but it is so convenient at the same time...considering other places charge per hour. If you can find parking elsewhere on the street go for it. But I like that this is a private parking and it's safe. You need to use your card key to get in or out.

Clean, modern facilities. Nice size room/bathrooms and the breakfast was AMAZING! location was right next to the convention center and right next to Food Lab with plenty of food options. Close to shops downtown as well.

Parking was expensive (even though I didn’t drive my own car) I was charged for parking after telling two different staff members that I did not have a car parked there. The charge was reimbursed and a staff member emailed me to let me know, so that was nice. There was some homeless people, but not bad at all.

This place is TOPS...lovely facility, lovely staff, lovely rooms and it is smack dab in the heart of Riverside and in walking distance of The Cheech, Fox Theater, Mission Inn...the rooms are tastefully done and immaculate. The staff is welcoming and informative.

The 20 some extra parking charge that is added upon check in is something that seems out of line with this wonderful place. Not sure if they have to pay a fee to the city or this is a way to pay for the parking lot land, but I suggest somehow absorbing that cot in the rate of the room or something...other than that, highly recommend.

pool, big clean rooms. staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was included in the room cost. the breakfast was amazing. they had everything you can think of for breakfast. plus more. i loved the camera idea outside of the hotel. pictures with a cool picture backdrop very cool idea. i love that the picture is available on your phone within minutes .

Hotel staff went over and beyond to help me with my reservation. They were great! Hotel staff Jasmine was soo great!

I did not like that booking.com did not forward my reservation to the Hsmptin Inn. I did not like that booking.com did not have sny contact information on the website. I did not like that it took about 2 hours to get the right assistance from booking.com. I will not use booking.com again and I will make sure to tell friends and family about this experience

I like the snack bar and the lounge area is really nice as well as the pool area. All very clean. I like the fact you have to have a key to use the elevator to get in to your room. its a great safety measure I do like. Love that there is tons of plug ins for whatever you need charged.

The wifi could work better I have trouble connecting it to my com cast often it. Some times with my laptop as well. That really is the only complain I have.

centrally located to a lot of activities and shops. property was clean and felt secure.

minimal staff - I needed bedding changed, made request but Housekeeping staff had left for the night. and front desk manager was the only staff on site. I ended up changing my own sheets. I advised front desk from check in time that my bed had some kind of debris in the sheets.

The room was beautiful and we had a lovely view of the street from our location. Upon entering the room, the fan was running which kept it nice and cool. The breakfast service was excellent, there was plenty of basic food items and a well-stocked waffle bar. The staff was warm and attentive as well.

The dining room area was a bit dirty and the tables were not cleaned after guests left, but it was a busy morning.

It was close to family we came to visit and central to everything.

It was clean and very nice. The fact breakfast was included made it very nice! The staff were helpful and friendly.
