Raincross Hotel Riverside

I reserved this hotel due to its close proximity to an event I was attending. It's easy accessibility to the Mission Inn Plaza area was a plus and I found a number of really good nearby restaurants in walking distance. I was also pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the room. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive.

Can't think of much. I was a bit surprised that the breakfast had been discontinued and pool unavailable since most pandemic restrictions have been lifted, but neither of those features were that important to me. A microwave would have been nice, but certainly not a deal breaker.

location was great, conveniently located to restaurants and stores. room was nice and comfortable. the person who checked me in was amazing. very friendly and kind.

I was told that I could do late checkout, and I asked about it in the morning before leaving to my event. I forgot to leave my name or room number so I messaged the property on my way back. I didn’t get a response so I called about an hour before checkout to confirm that I was able to do late checkout. Right after someone picked up, I explained what I wanted to do and it seemed that they hung up on me (everyone seemed nice so I hope it wasn’t intentional). I decided to leave right at check out time anyways to not risk it.

The hotel is affordable and a great value. Don't expect luxury, but since I only stayed one night, I feel extremely satisfied with my stay. The room was very clean and simple. The beds were very comfy as well. What I really liked the most was that the location itself was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was also very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location itself is very close, i.e. walking distance, to all the museums and many great restaurants and shops.

There aren't many negatives about the location. Probably some difficulty with parking on the left rear. It's not very easy to back out of that area without possibly hitting the building beams. I noticed that others have had that issue. Luckily we did not.

the receptionist were so nice and friendly i was there for a convention and needed some scissors and tape to quickly repair my costume and they were so nice about it. They noticed i had a lot of bags and before i asked shes like im going to give you a downstairs room so its easy for you super friendly even one the housekeeping ladies was nice to let me store my luggage in the storage she asked if i was planning on walking the convention with my suitcases i said yes until i meet up with my friend later on and she told me to ask the front desk if its ok and she will put it in storage. SUPER NICE STAFF

Affordable room at a choice location. Had all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. Parking was easy and close to the room we stayed in.

Something I could suggest is maybe adding a microwave, but other than that the room overall was all I could ask for. One concern I had was when exiting the parking lot onto Chestnut St is the curb takes a huge dip to the point where my car hit the pavement hard. I couldn’t tell if there was any damage when I got home, but the experience, at the time, was a bit of a shock.

This was our 4th stay here, 1st since the name change. We have family in Riverside and stay here when we visit. The hotel is a great value, especially for the area. The beds are comfortable and amenities are good. Also the Mexican restaurant next door is very good and has a full bar. Tio's Tacos around the corner is also a interesting place with good food.

My only complaint is there wasn't a box of tissue in the room. Not sure if this was due to Covid restrictions. It's not something I would base my review on, just a minor inconvenience. Also there aren't any lights near the bed, just the main light for the room and one near the bathroom/closet area.

Bring breakfast back, the pandemic is not going anywhere. Other than that, excellent price, very clean, quiet and safe. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely stay again and tell coworkers. Wolfgang coffee a perk.

I have to get on the road very early, so would like at least continental breakfast. Also, located on a noisy street, so you have to ask for Quiet room to be located away from noise if you plan to do business during visit.

Person who checked us in was extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Room was nicely cleaned every day. Was very quiet.

Parking was tight, but not a big problem. I wouldn't recommend trying to get a dually in there though.

I like that it was very clean and although it was a small room everything was organized.

I asked for two rooms that were going to be together, although they were not too far apart, the second room was in the other side of the building. Also, I gave cash for the lady to take the deposit and she still used my card. I do not like to give deposits with the card since sometimes they take to many days for the refunds.

The bed was very well appointed with 4 pillows, nice white linens and a clean comforter. The AC kept cycling on and off but the room was kept at a comfortable temp in blazing Riverside. While the shower head in the bathroom was a little low for a 6 footer, everything was clean well maintained. Pool was operational. There was plenty of parking was close to my room. Stairs to the second floor, exterior was pretty plain. But a great place to sleep comfortably for a reasonable price!
