Holiday Inn Express Colton, an IHG Hotel

The free breakfast is excellent. My family loved all the facilites at this hotel: the gym, the pool, and the hot tub. The rooms are well equipped with mini refrigerator, coffee machine, and microwave.

I found the bed to be not very comfortable, with little edge support, but my husband and kids did not have any complaints about the beds. The hotel is right next to a busy road. This is convenient for travel, but it can be a little noisy at times.

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was amazing! Especially Edwin who always was polite and helpful. Also, the bedding and pillows were so soft!! Loved the comfort. Parking was Free which is a BIG plus!! Overall I give this building a 9 out of 10.

The rooms had a distinct cigarette smell to them. Maybe try using a different deodorizer and linen type freshener. The hallways smelled lovely, but the rooms were musty and stunk like cigarette smoke.

The breakfast was good, I wish they had an omelet station but the choices were pretty good. Now the room, it was very chill and modern looking, with a ton of lamps. Who is trying to use that much light in one room? lol The bathroom was ok it could have been better.

They really need to put some CLR on those shower heads, there was so much build-up! There isn't too much to say negatively about this place. Wait they do need security at night I feel due to the area it's not in a cityscape more "off the freeway". If there was one, I sure didn't see or feel their presence

Big and clean room. The bed was comfortable, everything looked very clean and the room had plenty of space including a couch and a little office area. Everything in the room was working well and despite being close to a major road, it was not noisy.

Breakfast could be improved, there was not much variety and quantity. Regarding the staff, in general, they were helpful but the first person attending us when we arrived was a bit accelerated not explaining to us clearly the procedure of what he needed and making us sign papers and pay an additional fee. Finally, we understand this is a deposit that is usually paid in hotels in the USA and will be returned.

I liked everything, especially the Starbucks next door. The staff was awesome, Rooms were super clean and the ladies at the front desk were pretty, polite and very professional.

I don't like that my stay before this one was charged twice and booking.com will not take the time to simply give the hotel a virtual card number so my $326.00 can be returned to my credit card account. This was in October!! Feeling Neglected.

Location is super convenient and a direct route to UCR and downtown (we can avoid hoping on and off congested freeways for added ease); ample parking. Discovered it on our second trip and it’s our primary choice since then. It is reliable and doesn’t disappoint. Clean and comfortable rooms, kind staff, and offers a quick breakfast on the way out. Will be back.

Mattresses were really soft for some who are used to a firm mattress.

I've stayed here numerous times,I come back because the staff is always professional, courteous, willing to go that extra step to make my stay a pleasant one. The room's are great the breakfast selections,the overall experience is always a good one.looking forward to my next stay here.

That the weather wasn't great weather so my time at the pool wasn't the best ,but that had nothing to do with the ambiance or the hotel .😊

Easy access of the freeway. Clean. Glad to have full breakfast back.

Room thermostat would not produce heat until 70 degrees; told to us by maintenance man who came to room. We do not sleep over 66 in fall/winter. Had to turn unit off altogether, otherwise too cold. Location good for access. not good location because very near a busy railroad track that kept me from going to sleep, no earplugs provided either. Was not at check in that hot breakfast food was served to people and not serve yourself and server’s accent made her hard to understand .

Love having to have a room ready and waiting for me and really not looking for a location of a hotel because it's fairly easy to find.

I need a handicap shower and there is a glitch in the one handicapped room's shower valve that we had. We did have the maintenance tech down for just a minute to straighten it out and then was okay.

the property in itself is very well managed, rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was better than usual for this type of property.

The location is....let's say was convenient for the purpose of my business but there is nothing around in walking distance.
