Tower 23 Hotel

We loved our stay. We signed out bicycles, beach chairs, beach blankets /towels that were at no additional charge. We did the Wednesday night wine tasting which was fantastic and very informative. Located right next to the pier; the boardwalk was fun, and watching all the surfers was a blast! The hotel restaurant served nothing but the freshest and best food. The sunsets were amazing!!! We plan to come back again. Side note: We had reservations for Tower 23 for 2 nights and planned to go to the gas lamp area afterward. Since it was such the perfect location, great service, fine dining and so clean, we decided to stay the rest of our vacation there. We will be back! The staff is very kind, accomodating and they remember who you are and the room you are in!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

- Coffee machine was below average and only two coffee pods supplied for the whole stay. This is the case as there is no room service below 5 days stay unless you ask for it. - Full bar and nibbles all payable including bottled water. I would expect to have at least one free water bottle p/p in the room

Everything I needed and wanted from the experience. Restaurant was fairly priced and service from food to staff was grate and cleaned my room expected( linens). Bike rentals for the short distance cruiseing and San Diego city was a 25$ Uber away. Go here go have a good time.

Personally I come from a town where check ins are usually just before noon. Maybe a better scheduled check in time case by case. Not that big of a deal when there's a bunch to do and they'll hold your luggage.

We absolutely loved staying at Tower 23 and will stay there again when we go back to SD! The staff was so friendly, helpful, courteous… the location is just perfect! Don’t judge a book by its cover because when you come in and park it seems small but the quality of this hotel on the beach is truly exceptional! Loved Kevin who checked us in and was so helpful:-)

Location to the beach...my room opened onto the 2nd floor patio...great views!! Room service was prompt and all of the employees were very helpful, professional and courteous...definitely coming back again!!

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The firepit was so relaxing after walking the beach and shops all day.

The hotel is in the best location. Close to everything and I loved that it had an on-site restaurant. The customer service was outstanding, we felt very taken care of.

I wish it had a pool however I don’t know where it would go since the property isn’t large.

Wow the food was so delicious we didn't dine anywhere else! It was especially lovely eating outside on the tower deck with ocean view and fire pit. Service was consistently excellent and we felt we were cared for by friends, not strangers. The bed was Goldilocks perfect, not too soft, not too hard! The room was very clean and modern. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I researched for hours on the web before deciding on this place and my fellow travelers who can be quite picky thanked me numerous times for finding us such awesome accommodations. We all agreed this is our new favorite getaway and we hope to return soon.

Maybe would have been nice to have breakfast included on menu but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker.

Loved this hotel! The staff was amazing, so helpful and courteous. We received two complimentary drink coupons when we first arrived. And an hour after arriving, we received a call from the front desk, asking if the room met our expectations, and did we need anything! That has NEVER happened in all my years of travelling. Always greeted when we walked through the lobby, with a cheerful good morning, good afternoon...just loved this hotel. And the location could not have been better.

We certainly missed maid service, but understood that it was due to COVID. And there was a bit of a lag in us getting our food in a timely manner, but the restaurant was very busy that night. Still, the food was amazing.
