Staying at the Motel 6 in San Francisco was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The room was not only clean but also spacious, creating a comfortable environment for relaxation. Equipped with a TV, the room provided ample entertainment during downtime. The staff at the motel were exceptionally friendly, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience of my stay. Their hospitality made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. One of the standout features of this Motel 6 is the ocean view from the room. Waking up to the sight of the ocean each morning was truly a delight. Additionally, the motel's proximity to the waterfront promenade allowed for easy access to stunning views, particularly of the sunset, which was a highlight of my visit. The surrounding area includes a park ideal for leisurely walks, further enhancing the appeal of this location. Its strategic location also ensures convenience for travelers with vehicles, as it is easily accessible by car. Overall, my stay at Motel 6 San Francisco was notably enjoyable. The combination of clean, spacious accommodations, friendly staff, breathtaking views, and a convenient location made it a memorable visit. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic place to stay in San Francisco.

The staff are the most excellent people. They are very professional, courteous, accommodating, attentive, kind, friendly, and warm!! I cannot say enough about how amazing they are. Front desk--Lisa, maintenance-Jerry, housekeeping-Betty these folks are exceptional. And the other staff are doing their jobs very well. Staying in SF in particular by the beach is limited and staying in SF can be very expensive. The price is reasonable and affordable. There are a variety of room options, I love this. I've been staying at this Rodeway Inn whenever I'm in SF for the past 25 years. I recommend it to everyone. The staff make it fantastic. It's very clean. It's comfortable. There's plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bath tubs are big and fantastic. There are microwaves, mini fridges, dark curtains, windows that open for fresh ocean air and they lock. The rooms are big. Good things-- there are big chairs, plenty of table space, updated TVs and good channels, free good working wifi in every room. Good working AC and heat. If there's any problem they fix it without delay. Felt safe in room and outside. It's not super fancy but the cleanliness is excellent.

This place is a very good hotel to stay in San Francisco. I cannot make any complaints. Read my likes because they are stand out not my constructive observations. I'd love to see it updated a bit. There are a few rooms without carpet. They are the best. I think that's the best way to go especially to avoid odors. It'd be even better if every room was without carpet. Some of the furniture is pretty old--but it's still comfy and you can tell they clean everything everytime. But the upolstery and curtains could be renewed.

Hi - after 6 trips to the City of San Francisco in 7 months (experiencing 9 of the 10 rain rivers) I found a very very nice hotel for about 105.00 per day. Everything was great and it is two blocks from the famous Golden Gate Park and one block to the Pacific Ocean. I was on the second floor of 3 floor building and it was total silence except for the sound of the Pacific. The rain stopped for 4 hours so I was able to walk 10 or 12 blocks to both a very nice Restaurant and a super Safeway market on the Ocean. Finally, everytime I return to the Bay Area I will try to get a reservation through Booking.Com if available here. Nice group of people running the place. 10 out 10.

The weather ha ha - the worst storms ever.

Rodeway Inn & Suites Ucean Beach has a great location, except for closed off streets surrounding it. It's also tricky to find because of a lack of adequate signage. This is an older hotel and maintenance is a little lax. However, the room was quite large and clean. The staff was great. Everyone I talked to was friendly, helpful, and took care of things right away when I needed something,

The room we were in was not actually their "Handicapped Accessable" room. It was on the ground floor, next to the "Handicapped Accessable" room". So, it didn't have adequate grab bars, and a high toilet. It also didn't have a designated "Handicapped" Parking place. There was one for the actual "Handicapped Accessable" room" but we had to park on the street.

Hi - I enjoyed the first 6 nights so I added 2 more nights before my return to Dallas. One added thing that I found in the area was an exceptional restaurant called "Beach Restaurant on the Pacific." Wonderful food and great views. It is about 1,000 or 1,200 feet north on the Great Highway. Finally, all was great during the stay and there was free parking. The staff very kind. Will return in 2024.

Didn’t have complementary coffee…. Didn’t really like our bed well most likely the mattress seem to be a little too worn down a nice little firm mattress would’ve been better

The hotel was as clean as they could keep it given its ago, and the staff were great, but it is an old property and in some disrepair. However, it couldn't be better for location and cost, and "good enough is good enough."

I loved that the lady who checked us in was so nice and informative. I loved how spacious the rooms were and the fact that we can see the ocean from our vuew right outside the door.

We actually had to change rooms because the 1st one we were in there was a major dip in the bathroom and it felt like we were going to fall in. The second room we were in was much better. It was spacious, clean, and very nice. They also did not have ac/heat so that made me unhappy because i get hot fast.

I liked the location and the price for the space we got. The room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We were right by the beach.

The room does get humid with no AC so we had to open the window. Only two outlets worked which was difficult to charge multiple devices. We had to rotate who was able to charge their phone.
