Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Jose North/Silicon Valley

Centrally located for Bay Area, Santa Cruz & Monterey/Carmel. Super clean rooms. Literally everyone was welcoming & friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Pet friendly with treats on arrival. Our dog got plenty of extra attention from front desk & housekeeping!!

We absolutely loved our stay but a tray to take breakfast back to our room would have been a big help. We didn’t want leave our dog in our room for long so getting 2 breakfasts was a juggling act!!!

I liked the location and cleanliness. The staff were friendly and helpful. So, a great stay

The breakfasts were not as nice as they usually are for this chain. The turkey bacon were like squares of extruded cardboard and there were no breakfast potatoes - most of the breakfasts for this chain offer a rotating set of proteins and always some sort of potatoes. Waffle irons were not sprayed recently, so waffles tended to stick each day (though it was nice that they were the four-per-iron type, so a person could make only one or two mini waffles instead of too much) In all, the breakfast was edible but not nearly as nice as they usually are

the property was clean everywhere we went, breakfast area was kept clean as soon as something was out of place. outside area was nice.

if more than one group was at the fire pit or basketball court it seemed crowded, the pool was the biggest area outdoors.it was only loud the night before a game, luckily the kids slept through it. breakfast hours change from weekend to weekdays and we missed it the last day since we left early. also there aren’t restaurants nearby so it’s important to take everything with you so you don’t have to drive another 20 minutes

One reason we chose the Fairfield is because of the full breakfast. The food was hot, fresh and refilled in a timely manner.

The waffle maker was very popular. However, it is placed in a corner, causing crowds. Perhaps placed on an end. A staff member to make the waffles at busy times would be best

hot tub was broken, breakfast rush caused most food items to run out and had to wait to replenish (also couldn’t find anyone wiping down tables), not a lot of fruit at breakfast (bananas old and mushy inside - only option saw), staff not too knowledgeable about area, no moisturizer in rooms, ran out of soap after one shower

I absolutely loved this hotel. For the price, you cannot beat it. The pool and hot tub was so nice and relaxing with nice furniture. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, they have the best waffles ever! The bed was literally so comfortable that I slept in and I don’t normally sleep in. The only things that weren’t perfect, was the outdoor fire pit was out of service and the last few hours of the pool being open, is full of teenagers taking up the entire hot tub. There were about 13 teenagers in the hot tub when there is only suppose to be 6 people in the hot tub. But overall, I was very very sad to leave. Hotel was absolutely amazing.

Plenty of well illustrated parking. There are even EV charging stations. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathrooms. The breakfast was better than the standard continental. We only stayed one night but were well rested. Overall great place to stay.

Best hotel breakfast I've had in a while. Great selection and plenty of dining space for seating. Location was really beautiful with nice walking path nearby. Having the small bar and bistro on site was a bonus.

Room felt cramped, doors banged into each other, not really enough space to operate coffee machine. Liquid creamer, preferably 1/2&1/2 would have been appreciated.

The breakfast was a huge bonus - no stale donuts and yogurt packs - this hotel breakfast went above and beyond! Waffles, breakfast meats, potatoes, scones yogurt and cereal bar - it was amazing!

Shower pressure was a little light in our room however our other party in an adjacent room had no issues.

The reception was professional, knowledgeable, effective and efficient. The twin bed room was spacious, comfy, neat , tidy and well decorated. The breakfast was sumptuous with sufficient variety of food items, drinks, fruits.
