Residence Inn by Marriott San Jose North/Silicon Valley

In certain rooms, the views of the water is just breathtaking. So beautiful. The rooms are also generally very well-designed with comfort in mind.

In my first room, I had a small issue with my room. I contacted the front desk, and the gentleman helped me sorted into another one very quickly. He was very very apologetic about it and very professional. There is also some noise in the wall from some children running around, but you won’t hear much of the normal people walking-by sounds.

The Suites were fantastic. Perfect amount of space and comfort. The breakfast was also very good with different options every morning. Loved all the amenities that were available outside as well.

The bar and restaurant was not opened daily. Not sure if it was a staff issue, but on the nights we planned to stay in and eat we had to last minute get something different.

I added a note to my reservation that it was my daughters birthday.. not only did the staff greet us and immediately wish her happy birthday, but there was a hand written birthday card and a basket of treats waiting in our room! Staff was so friendly and the hotel experience was great! No complaints whatsoever.

That we couldnt stay longer!!

The location was fantastic with many nature parks within 20-30 minutes drive of the hotel. There were many nature, bike, and walking paths around the hotel which was quietly located next to the San Francisco Bay Wildlife Preserve. There were incredible views from our hotel room which was comfortable with a well stocked kitchenette. The staff were friendly and helpful and a small business center allowed us to print important travel documents. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The fire alarm went off twice during our stay. People were walking back inside without any directions or guidance. Emergency system or plans were not clear such as when to return or to leave.

The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. The staff were attentive, helpful and available to assist. The room was quiet, clean and roomy.

No linen service the next day, needed a few fresh towels, asked and they were brought up right away.

The breakfast was fine. Standard hotel breakfast. The sofa and kitchen in the room was a really nice feature.

The TV didn't work at all. The room didn't have a safe. The view was just of the roof and air-conditioner.

The location was great for our purposes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as with all residence inns. Lots of parking, nature trail along salt ponds on the back, fresh air, no street traffic. Lots of room for dogs to run.

The train tracks run right next to the building and the train horn blasts every time it goes by. They don’t run all night but you hear it in the am. The curtains do not black out the room.

Elijah I believe is his name was great, he gave us the room on the 4th floor which we requested. We were able to check out early since we had another reservation in San Francisco for our anniversary. Our stay was really short just a few hours but we were able to catch a few hours of sleep without any noises. I would stay here in the future for a weekend get away.

Could have been a little more clean there were some hairs in the back of the toilet. The room smell clean and so did the hallways

The hotel was very clean and in a convenient location. Very impressed by the courteous staff and found the breakfast choices to be excellent.

A bit high priced

Did checking out today at 12pm , took half of my belongings to my car, and half left on hotel room. When i come back to pick second half , room was closed, and key not working. I went to talk to frond desk , ask them to open my room, the guy told me I should go to end of line, instead of help me right a way. He told me keep 6 feet , but nobody in line keep 6 feet. His guy was wary rude to me, And not polite.
