New Corral Motel

The location was easy enough to reach coming off of the highway. Open parking lot which is easy to maneuver your car around in and up-front parking for your room (typically). The blackout curtains are next-level awesome but when night time rolls around, you'll know why. The parking lot is the most well lit area I have ever seen at a hotel.

I needed a hotel because it was impossible for me to keep driving, wanted to find something affordable and near the freeway and I did with New Corral. I didn't get to take advantage of the full stay as I only stopped to get sleep and moved on. Not the hotels fault.

Mom and Pop motel. I miss these type of places. I go between Vegas and LA a lot. If you need to take a break, the middle is Victorville (never, ever stay in Barstow). In Victorville, you have so many choices, name brand hotels, along the freeway, highest of prices, you never know what you’re going to get. So take an extra two minutes and drive here! Old school motel but clean, modern and what I needed, a bed and a shower. Whoever decorated has good taste in colors. The best thing: NO smoke smell! I hate cigarettes.

Only one small suggestion: the shower for this type of place was awesome! walk in, large and comfortable. But whoever made the little nook where you put your soap angled it too much. I couldn’t store my soap.

Simple but very good for the price. Large comfortable bed, private parking in front of the door. Quiet even though next to the main street so you can easily continue the road trip or go out to eat. For us it was a perfect motel experience on our road trip!

Only a very little thing: Even though the AC in the bedroom worked well the bathroom remained very warm.

Very clean and comfortable, we had a good sleep , it was quiet. it was nicely upgraded, kept its original character but everything felt up-to-date. The sign outside us a credit to the motel and looks beautiful at night.

Nothing that we didn't like about the motel and we would definitely stay again, but as far as we could find, the nearest place to eat was a bit of a drive away.

I loved the comfort and the smell and cleanliness of it .also the family friendly and safe feeling for being that area I didn't have to worry about my vehicle or our safety even had parking write in front of room .

Price could be a lil better and if not maybe coffee or snake / breakfast .

This is a genuine route 66 motel. I like parking in front of the room so I can look out the window to see my motorcycle is safe. This is a nice quiet motel set back from the street so you don't hear the noise. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and well organized. I would definitely stay here again.

That weird package of shampoo was hard to open when my hands were wet in the shower. The LED lighting is way too bright. The plastic barrier in the office gave me pause. However I can understand it in this day of covid-19

If you are looking for a nice quiet clean and comfortable place to sleep I will definitely recommend this place. Not only is the hostess more than professional and easy to deal with he's a jolly person.

There was nothing that I did not like about this stay.

Very good location on 66. Clean rooms - very comfy bed. Large bathroom. No sound from the road.

One minor point: no coffee in the morning nor is there a coffee maker in te room. As a caffeine addict, that was a little painful. But like I said: minor point.
