Arrowhead Lake Inn

Walking distance to the village. The room was very clean. Staff very friendly. The front balcony community sitting area had a beautiful view of the lake.

The room was very small and pink. Pink everything! Walls, bedspread and old pink Victorian looking curtains. The Pink Room. At 7am this noise from the other side of the wall prevented me from sleeping in. It was continuous and sounded like a pair of tennis shoes tumbling in a dryer over and over again.

Excellent location; we like to go on long walks and enjoy hiking regularly, and this property provides a very easy walk to the Village/restaurants/shopping/grocery & convenience store. The neighborhood it's in is nice, everyone is very friendly and it's nice to walk around. The rooms are a little quirky but that's a big part of the appeal. Parking was not an issue. All of Arrowhead lost power for more than 14 hours overnight on the last night of our stay (due to heavy snowfall & ice causing tree branches to knock down a major power line) - the water heater appeared to be gas so we never lost hot water, but since the only heater in the room is electric we did lose heating. Between the extra blankets in the room and blankets we brought for the car ride we stayed cozy. There were battery powered "candles" in the room, but all the batteries were dead, so we used all the batteries from the the TV remotes for lighting. Staff was very accommodating and friendly when engaged.

Having the parking area and stairs plowed & shoveled would have been very nice - the stairs are a legitimate hazard with ice and snow. The access road and parking area were never cleared, the stairs and walking area were only shoveled once by staff. I did the stairs myself once. No hangars in the closet.

The Inn is in a great location, just a short walk to the store, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are small, but nicely decorated. The owners have taken every effort to attend to many little touches that make the inn especially inviting.

due to pandemic restrictions, they had to use pre-packaged breakfast items. with a little more thought, they could add some not-so-sweet and some protein items.

Beautiful property. The room was set in a nice location with a balcony and view. Being close to the Village allowed us to wonder without being too far away. No vehicle needed entire weekend as everything was within walking distance.

The futon was simply a smaller "mattress" under a bigger mattress causing the surface to be flimsy while trying to get comfortable. Extra bed was not comfortable as mattress was very thin and accompanying sheets very thin. Warmth was an issue while in either the futon or the hide away bed. The double bed was warm and comfortable.

Quaint and clean , beautiful views and balcony area , host was very nice and snacks were available in the lobby area for guests access! Rooms are adorable, vintage themed property with lots of character

Property has quite a bit of Steps - was not an issue for us but could be challenging for other guests

Nostalgic cozy comfy and relaxing place with lake view from the balcony. This location is just few minutes away from the lake, village center and restaurants. Free coffee snacks and fruits available at the lobby. Lots of towels and toiletries but bring your own toothbrush and paste. Available Two big fans to circulate air inside.

Getting to upper parking is steep and narrow. Lower parking is located next to the main road so be cautious when backing up. The portable airconditioner exhaust pipe attached on the window needs repair. Small room window cannot open.

The view from the balcony is very nice and relaxing. You get to see the lake and you generally have the place to yourself which is nice. Lowela (the staff that was there when we stayed) was very helpful and polite. Did an awesome job helping us out.

Getting into the Inn was a bit tricky. There's a major blind spot where you enter and exit from. They might consider putting up a yield sign or a mirror so people can see oncoming traffic. The room we stayed in (La Petite) was on the ground floor with two rooms above it. Not sure if it was the wood floor or just the neighbors but it was loud whenever they moved around. It would also be nice to vent the room some how. We did open the front door now and again but having a window that could open and circulate air might help for summer time.

The property is across from the village and easy to find. We had to check in very late and they were very accommodating and stayed on the phone until we had opened the lockbox and the room. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a nice bonus. They had coffee and tea in the room and oatmeal, pop tarts and pastries, a few apples and tangerines in the lobby for breakfast which was nice if needed.

We had 3 people staying in the room and the double bed was fine, but the roll away and the day bed were both very uncomfortable. The rollaway mattress was thin and we could feel the bars of the bed underneath.

The location was perfect with a Lake view and very close to the Arrowhead Lake Village. Walking distance but we drove because of traffic. The Inn was cute and quaint. Nostalgic decor which was cute! Our room was small and cozy, but I would have liked a larger room. Next time I will book one of the larger rooms. Service from the lovely lady at the front desk is amazing, friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the smell of the disinfectant cleaner because I have allergies to strong scents.

A cute little cozy place with a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very clean and nicely decorated. The gal at the front desk was nice and helpful. Beautiful view from the front patio. Excellent price. Could walk to the village from our location.

The shower is plumed the wrong way. Hot is cold and cold is hot. Not a big deal, you just need to know.
