Holiday Inn Express Woodland, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was great, very busy but lady in the back was attentive and quick to refill things as they ran out if you asked her. Coffee, hot water, hot chocolate packages, and omelettes ALL ran out while my two kids and i attempted to have breakfast. Eventually all were replaced.

I was really hoping for relaxing in the pool. It was loud and crowded. The jacuzzi water was so dirty you could smell it and see the water tinted green and foul odor. Greenish and cloudy with lots of stuff floating once water was still: so bad it didn’t even smell like bleach anymore in there. Pool was ok and enjoyable minus unattended 15 kiddos who constantly jumped and pushed each other into the pool endangering my own kids. Parents should be more responsible and manager should be making rounds to pool when large groups can be heard in the pool. The cleaning was desirable and there was often no towels available.

Our room was comfortable.

The swimming pool was heavily chlorinated and had a health warning sign on the wall stating the pool water was recirculated and it was unhealthy to get the water in your mouth. Even though the water is checked daily there should be installed a safer swimming pool water filtration method. Breakfast option were limited, no dairy free milk, eggs were oily and like rubber. Hard to operate shower settings and get out of tub safely. Concerns about possibility of theft in cars, should have on-site security at night.

The location was very convenient to a lot of places to eat or shop. It's also very close to the airport which gave me a piece of mind when it was time to fly back. The breakfast was delicious and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and good size. Although I did sign up to get my room clean atleast once during my 4 days of stay, the housekeeping didn't come to clean my room which was okay since the room wasn't all that dirty.

They have free airport shuttle but maybe because of the weather, they were late on driving me to the airport thus giving me less time to check in and go through the TSA. But the staffs were still friendly and updated me where the driver was and kept me warm during the cold morning weather.

Clean hotel with wide hallways... Breakfast was good with lots of options.

The pool was NOT heated, even though we were told it was.. Our water faucet in the tub broke and water kept running. We couldn't turn it off. The front desk clerk moved us rooms since they had no maintenance on duty or to call to turn off water. Also did not get the Government employee pricing and clerk said he couldn't change it.

It was quiet; just far enough away from the freeway to avoid the traffic noise yet close enough so it was easy to find. The beds were great! Soft sheets, firm and soft pillows, very clean, liked the “kitchen” cubby—excellent use of space. Helpful staff. Nice selection of food items at breakfast.

$4 for a bottle of coke was excessive.

I like that they put us right near the entrance and the quietness and the cleanest of the room and the breakfast is was amazing and the breakfast had real pork sausage loved it

There wasn't anything oh yeah one thing we couldn't stay longer because we had to get back to work

The breakfast itself was good, better than average. BUT, they only served breakfast until 9:30 am. 9:30 am is fine for the construction workers and the staff, but way too early for vacationers like us. 10:30 or 11 or even 10 would be significantly better for us vacationers.

Serve breakfast until at least 10am, and 10:30 would be even better.

Free airport shuttle was perfect. Breakfast and room were great. Room was spacious with arm chair, small table with 2 chairs, and a desk with computer chair.

The lights/lamps in the room were very dim. Wish I could've used the pool/hot tub but due to covid only 1 family at a time was allowed and it always seemed to be in use. Maybe it would be good to implement a 1 hour limit per family, so that others could use it.

Breakfast was great omelettes, pancakes, turkey sausage, my kids loved it. Indoor pool, great. Complementary washer and dryer, awesome!! My son was on a soccer tournament and I did not have to wash his uniform by hand, huge plus, thank you. 😃

Breakfast was hot and delicious. Quite a nice selection with 4 different juices, coffee, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt and fruit. Clean area, well presented. Buffet style. Nice dining room area to eat in.

I can't say that I didn't like anything, I was impressed by the level of value and service for a "non-luxurious" hotel. Very clean, neat, comfortable.
