Great location and comfort: very quiet and private; the bed was firm and comfortable; the unit was spacious and clean; hot tub was a bonus! The coffee and continental-plus breakfast were quite good: bread/toast/bagel, PB and J, cream cheese; packaged muffins; hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, several fruit juices, hard boiled eggs.

not a high priority for me and not a surprise but: he décor and kitchen appliances were dated (some rust in the corner of the fridge); the shower was very small, but functional (good hot water and pressure); some minor maintenance needed (the folding door to the bathroom didn't work properly)

The location was exceptional. Arriving at night was pretty magical with festoon lighting and mountains in the background. Great proximity to mountains (even deer outside my window one afternoon) and Boulder Creek trail. Breakfast was simple but good.

Both the shower and basin had plumbing problems and backed up with water almost immediately. The shower was also rotting in places.

I traveled with my husband and 9-year-old son, and we wanted a place that was walking distance from the downtown Boulder area and a short drive to the Rockies. The motel is super charming, the breakfast is really nice and the staff is kind and helpful. But what we loved the most was the location. If I knew before how cool it was, I would have booked it for longer. There is a beautiful park right in front of it (I should say, the motel is almost inside the park itself) with small waterfalls were you can splash or use rental rafts, a nice bike trail and a hike trail through the mountain that has an amazing view and leads you right to the downtown area. Our first day in Colorado couldn't have been better. We stayed just one night (unfortunately) and headed to the Rocky Mountains the next day (about a 50min drive through magnificent views). I hope we can come back.

We had the two bedroom suite and loved it! It had a lot of charm and space, it was even better than we anticipated. It was a very cold weekend and the rooms were nice and warm. It was great to have a kitchen and dining room to cook and eat our own meals. The morning breakfast provided by the hotel was very nice. The location was also great and convenient to all the attractions in Boulder. My 2 year old son particularly loved the playground and Boulder creek across the street.

The cabins were so comfortable. We liked the little patio in front of our unit. It's so close to a great hike and even closer to a swimmable river. The kind of u-shape situation of the cabins was nice to feel like we were part of a little collective. The staff was helpful when we had hiking questions and just generally we had nice conversation.

We could've done with a couple hangers on the walls ! Maybe a little key holder by the door ?

We stayed for 1 night with our two kids on our way back from the Rockies to Denver airport. Superb location, easy free parking right outside with a stunning view from both of our rooms. It was just 15 mins stroll along the river to the centre of town and safe to walk back after dinner at night. The rooms were homely and cute, well appointed with a fridge, heating and aircon. The beds were very comfortable (the pillows were OK, a bit lumpy for me), the en-suite bathrooms supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers (which scored well for reducing plastic). The staff were friendly and the coffee was good. There was free all day parking opposite where we left our car after we checked out at a very comfortable 11.00 the next morning. We went for a hike up the river from the motel- no need to drive off. A great American motel experience to end our trip. I'd recommend. Thank you!

Minor point, but better pillows would have been nice.

Nice location next to Boulder River and Canyon… friendly staff friendlier guests…rustic cabin like rooms beds were comfortable and they had great coffee with real honey available.

It was a nice experience the parking however is pretty tight and the walls were thin could here the peeps in the room next to us. It was a little pricey but the early check in and later checkout was a nice surprise

Great place to stay - ideally located for downtown Boulder but quiet, close to great hiking on the Flat Irons. The rooms were fabulous, parking by the door and with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast provided in the main reception, options for gluten free available. Staff friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my return trip.

The location was awesome. It was within walking distance of Pearl street via a Greenway by the river. Yet great views of the mountains. Breakfast was nice. Rooms are old but charming and clean. If you are looking for Rustic charm in a great location and tranquil. Fun outdoor seating.

It is old but could be cleaned a little better.

It’s a great retro place, lots of attention to detail, great location next to Eden Fine park, the river and walking distance to Pearl Street. Beds comfy. Great area out back where you can BBQ or just sit and watch the rabbits. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We’ll stay again.
