Residence Inn by Marriott Boulder

This is great place managed by great people. People are doing their best under the given circumstances. It was winter so most of the outdoor facilities were close, but it should be nice to enjoy the sunshine at the open pool. All of our needs catered properly.

We stayed for an extended period of time, so grab&go breakfast become boring after couple of days. There was a constant noise of heat pump, ventilator, and the refrigerator in the room. Our room was dark where we didn't get enough sunshine, perhaps because of the season.

The two floor, two-bedroom style room had so much space for me and my adult children to spread out and have separate spaces. And the kitchen was helpful when we wanted to just stay in and have leftovers for supper, or make a late nite snack. It was also nice having 2 full bathrooms.

Breakfast was a joke; pre-made sausage sandwiches, prewrapped bagels and muffins, and if you wanted a cup of coffee, you had to go back to your room and brew an entire pot. And when I asked the woman at the front desk about it, she just shrugged her shoulders. Also, the wifi was very slow.

The rooms have private entrances from outside, they are more like apartments. They have a full kitchenwith oven and everything needed to prepare meals, a seperate sitting area with a TV that swivels around for viewing in any area. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was good also.

Well located with a nice courtyard outside our room. The bed was comfortable and the room, quiet.

The bathroom door doesn’t open all the way and the shower is poorly designed. Show time did not load properly. The oatmeal served at breakfast is super runny. I wish they had supplied coffee filters in the kitchens and offered more spoons and dish soap.

We stayed here for two nights on the front side of a move out of state, and it was FANTASTIC. The front desk staff, specifically Jackie and Toby, were incredible. They were both so kind, helpful and eager to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice kitchen and comfortable bed. Parking was easy and carry-to-your-suite breakfast was great. THANK YOU, JACKIE AND TOBY!

The furnace was noisy when it kicked on and ran. Something I may not have noticed if I wasn't having issues sleeping. I don't think the sleeping issue was related to anything to do with the room. I found it difficult to sleep well knowing and seeing the historic Marshall fire wasn't that far away. We stayed the night that fires were still burning. I knew based on the wind direction that the location was was safe but still kind of unnerving.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

The only thing I may say could improve is the quality of the breakfast served. However it wasn’t bad and we did eat breakfast there each morning we stayed there.

Groundskeeper cleared snow immediately. Brushes for clearing snow available at desk. No wait to use the workout room, limited to one person/family at a time. Shower well kept. Kitchen had just enough cookery. Coin laundry useful. Staff pleasant and helpful. Easy access to Boulder locations by car. Free parking.

Breakfast options were very limited and not good value - instant oatmeal, frozen bagels, yogurt, jimmy dean breakfasts (not for someone with egg allergy), and oranges. We could hear footsteps of upstairs guests and voices of guests outside. No discount for longer stays. Asked for bill to be emailed but did not receive it.

Spacious room with full kitchen set-up. Very comfortable.

Its in the middle of an office park about 10mins from downtown. A little hard to find as there is no hotel sign at the turn into the office park and we missed the turn into the office park twice at night as its not lit up. No cooking equipment for the oven, only saucepans.

This was my first stay at a Residence Inn. I was pleased with the extra space and the fact that the sleeping area was separate from the lounge area and kitchen facilities. Very nice when you and your traveling partner have different sleep patterns.

The quality of some of the breakfast items could be better.
