Hotel Boulderado

Everything about the Hotel Boulderado was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. So nice to be there when the Christmas tree and decorations were going up. It was beautiful! From the front desk to the bartender and even the valets- I can’t say enough about how they exceeded my expectations! Loved the feel of the entire hotel. Location was excellent too!

The only thing that I would have to say is the air conditioner was very loud. Would wake me up when it would start up. But it was manageable.

The Hotel Boulderado is a small, elegant and what I refer to as a"Grande Dame Hotel." I have visited the Denver-Boulder area many times over the years and have enjoyed a meal at the hotel before, but never had the occasion to stay. The rate was reasonable for a couple nights close to Christmas. The central location in town is an easy walking distance to many sites and activities. The bustling Pearl St. pedestrian mall is s block away. However, despite my plans for a fine visit to Boulder, I was caught in the December snowstorm! As the temperatures were severely cold and the sidewalks icy, I could not go out. Fortunately, since I had to be stuck inside for two days, I was at a comfortable, charming, historic hotel ( though my nice room was in the newer annex). With FABULOUS food and a very friendly and attentive staff! I couldn't ask for more!

The location of the Boulderado is absolutely fabulous. The history that is displayed is incredible.

For what’s considered a four-star hotel, the rooms are just sort of pretty plain and standard. We were in an ADA room with an old tub and showerhead similar to my grandparents used to have. It wasn’t anything “luxurious” or fancy. For the rate we got, that’s fined but if it hadn’t been a last minute sale and we paid full price it would have been disappointing

Hotel Boulderado represents a delightful mix of old with new. The decor was pleasant and in good taste. I liked that the eateries were integrated within the hotel with its own external entrance and direct access from the hotel lobby. The staff was always happy to see me and eager to serve. The all were easy to work with and made my stay extra enjoyable.

Some of the rugs in the main areas appeared a little worn and would need to be replaced. My room faced the rear parking and trash dumpsters. It didn't distract from the accommodations since we kept our windows shades closed throughout our stay. We stayed in the North Extension, which had limited access through a "Skybridge" to get to the main lobby and street.

It’s beautiful and it was a great location. We had a burnt orange old fashioned at the bar and it was nicely made.

Well our room was supposed to be 206- and we seem to be paying 432- for one night instead. I was told the original hold with the Deposit would be released upon checking out. Instead the hotel changed an extra 206- on my credit card. In total it was 432- taken. We definitely did not damage the room.

Staff was friendly and we were upgraded to a King Suite: Loved it! On site parking a bonus and located close to everything (Boulder Theatre and Pearl Street Mall and Restaurants). Love this place!

We ordered room service breakfast. It arrived cold and not cooked properly (my over medium eggs were well done and the bacon was raw). The Bloody marys were not very good and the lavender mimosa just tasted like just straight champagne. For a $70 plus dollar breakfast I won't make that mistake again.

Built in 1908, renovated fairly recently, this storied hotel with its stained glass lobby and balconies staircase is both comfortable and full of character. A bar with an outdoor patio and a restaurant have an excellent kitchen with delicious healthy food popular with the locals. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the location near Pearl street shopping can’t be beat.

Nothing—valet parking took care of the one difficulty

We booked mostly mostly for location, but also because it is a historic building. It was fantastic, absolutely beautiful inside and out, and the proximity to Pearl street really was a huge bonus. Absolutely would go back!

I was hoping Valet parking was underground, but that’s even a stretch. Nothing to add, one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at.

Lovely old well maintained period hotel! Excellent location for walking downtown Boulder's Pearl St. The hotel offers generous free amenities at the front desk which helps guests stay hydrated in the higher altitude (bottled water, electrolytes packets, eye drops, floss, mints), a nice and considerate touch! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Also, don't miss the downstairs speakeasy bar and happy hour. Get transported back in time and enjoy music, a pool table, darts and games. Very fun!

They do not offer complementary coffee service in the lobby.

Beautiful historic hotel, with "museum" exhibitions throughout the hotel's common areas which include couches and a fireplace. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous, and the restaurant is staffed by friendly staff (especially our server Danny) and delicious food. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, the location, the comfort, the view of the mountains from the hotel. We loved Boulder and Hotel Boulderado is one of the main reasons why it was such an awesome experience.

I can't think of anything, it was perfect.
