This hotel was extremely laid back and extremely comfortable with exceptional customer service and super friendly staff I was super impressed with the whole experience as I only stayed one night and it was a quite pricey not to mention the prices for the mini bar in the room it had a lot of options which was very nice just the price for the amount was way over priced if you ask me but hey you get what you pay for right ? Overall 10/10 wish I would’ve got the lady’s name who checked us in very professional and I really wish she could teach a class to all other hotels in Colorado showing how to greet and check people into there rooms. I can’t exaggerate enough how welcoming she made us feel compared to the last 8 hotels I’ve stayed in the last couple of months! Thanks again it was a real pleasure and a really relaxing night

We had a wonderful experience at the Thompson in Denver! The location was incredible and it was very clean. The valet service was exceptional! On the second day of our trip, it was discovered that our vehicle was completely dead (we’re not sure why as it hasn’t given us any more problems). The people working the valet desk jumped it for us and were so kind and patient about the situation. Really, they couldn’t have been nicer.

The destination fee took us by surprise. It wasn’t a lot, but it seemed unnecessary.

this property was amazing, I loved how close it was to all the downtown area but most of all I loved the essence of the place. everything was so well organized and CLEAN the energy was relaxing and calming, our room was everything we wanted. my partner and I went and the hotel amenities director Sarah, helped me plan out a perfect surprise in the room, I had requested a room with a view and they managed to make everything happen. Sarah was super sweet and so helpful even on days she wasn’t in office she tried her very best to give me all the information I needed and guided me in the right direction. the food at chez maggy was AMAZING as well. I would 100% say this is a very welcoming and safe space, LGBTQ+ friendly!!! please please please book your next stay here!!!! you will not regret it! my partner and I got hit really bad with altitude sickness unfortunately the whole trip but the hotel staff was so helpful, we requested a humidifier and other things and they were understanding and helpful and got us everything we needed to help us feel a little better. THANK YOU THOMPSON DENVER!!!

Ubers got lost a lot trying to find the hotel bc it routes them through an alleyway and so we had to cancel a lot of Ubers but that’s not the hotels fault. just fair warning if you’re getting an Uber let them know you are in front of the hotel and send them the full address to the hotel just in case.

Downtown Denver is very quiet on Sunday mornings except for a large homeless community. It's clear homeless people and drugs are a big problem in many US cities and I'm only mentioning it as I didn't feel fully comfortable walking around early in the morning. Denver seems like a nice city and the hotel was fantastic.

Liked that the hotel fee goes towards discounts at local businesses, Milk Tea People was amazing! The coffee in the lobby (Duel) was really good and croissant was so fresh! Decor was very beautiful and very nice amenities.

The pillows and blankets were not great, stayed in more comfortable hotel beds than these. Room was very dusty, not sure if it was because guests haven't stayed there in a long time or maybe lack of circulation/filters?

Stylish, well appointed and comfortable. Great gym (loved the pelotons) and thoughtful touches throughout. The location was close to an array of restaurants and very walkable.

Billing wasn't great - lots of additional fees that felt misrepresented. My third phone conversation to resolve them was with a particularly unfriendly woman. No kettle in the room for the tea drinkers.

the location in the LoDo was terrific. close to lots of great restaurants. the room and amenities were nice. higher end hair dryer, six foot shower, under cabinet lighting that lit up when you walked to bathroom at night. Chris at the front desk was so helpful. we arrived early and he was able to get into our room sooner.

The hotel has a nice design and the location of the hotel in downtown is great with close proximity to breakfast places and restaurants. The room was nice and airy. The gym was well equiped for a hotel gym. The staff on reception were very pleasant and friendly.

Incredible experience. The staff were amazing, the room was gorgeous and comfortable. Everything went super smoothly, loved that I could wake up and go downstairs to get a coffee before getting ready in my room. I would come back here again and again.

The restaurant was a bit expensive for what it was, probably would not eat there next time.

Location was ideal. We were able to walk anywhere and felt very safe and comfortable doing so. The building and room itself were gorgeous. Our room wasn't huge, but they did such a good job with functionality of design that it was perfect. Such a comfortable and beautiful stay.
