Home2 Suites By Hilton Fort Collins

Hotel is in great location near restaurants,grocery stores and main streets. The staff are friendly and polite. The entrance door looks small but it opens into an open and inviting modern space.  Generally, clean with hand sanitizers and wipes available for guest to use in every floors. Our room was spacious with great layout and  modern fixtures. Very clean including the carpets , kitchen & bathroom tile floors. We particularly love the kitchen with all the modern appliances and basic dishware. There is a dishwasher and a sink ( but no stovetop). Great storage and shelving for clothing & stuff. Good day and night room lighting.  We love the sofa as extra seating and mini table. Sheets and linens were clean.

The bed was not comfortable. It was smaller than we thought it would be. They said it will be queen size ( and we use queen size at home) but more like full bed. It is also too soft and makes alot creaky sound. Not for us, it gave us body aches. The bathroom also was smaller with a standing shower. It would have been nice if they had adjustable shower handle. No hair conditioners and lotions provided. Internet was weak,we had to call their IT specialists to get a connection. Note that this room do not have stovetop.  Television was buffering and pixellated  at night.

Close to restaurants, fast food, shops, and the Cinemark was literally next door, so it was really easy to go see a movie after a day out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy when we arrived. It's a comfortable enough room at the end of the day.

The air/heating unit is too close to the bed. It didn't maintain a comfortable temp. The room inevitably became either too cool (we needed an extra blanket at night) or too warm. The bed and sofa bed mattresses were fine, but the pillows were a bit lumpy.

Good breakfast. I would have liked scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage on side rather than in a biscuit. Fresh fruit would be an improvement.

The pool was nice, however, would like to be outside when it is sunny. I room was chilly. A hot tub would be an improvement. Marriott has a combo pool inside/ outside as an example. The location is close to everything one may need except my son lives near Drake & Taft which makes Home2 Suites a 30 minute drive to his house.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. I was impressed with the spaciousness of the room. We enjoyed the breakfasts and especially all day coffee. It was helpful to have a kitchenette to store and cook food. I enjoyed having a couch to sit on to read, watch tv, visit, etc. I felt totally safe since a key card was necessary to use the elevator.

That there was no Ben and Jerry’s cherry Garcia ice cream!

We like the curtain between the bed and the sofa. We also appreciated that you could walk to a few nearby restaurants. We also really liked breakfast. They used quality products and you could tell the difference between a standard hotel breakfast and here. They also had a small area to chill outside at night.

I booked a queen bed and it was more like a large full bed. I am pregnant so it was pretty tight sharing the smaller bed with my husband. The outdoor space to chill at night could be bigger. It is not possible to walk into Downtown Fort Collins, but we knew that before booking. But it would have been nice to stay closer in town.

I was traveling with a wheelchair bound relative, and the handicapped room we had was spacious with excellent accommodations for him. The complimentary breakfast was equal to a fine restaurant, with many options available each morning. There was a nice restaurant next door which made other meals convenient. The staff treated us like royalty.

I felt that my vehicle was perfectly safe even though the parking lot was shared by the hotel, a busy restaurant, a movie theater, and local traffic. It would have been nice to have a secured parking lot, but I can see why that is not possible at this location.

Thaddeus was very helpful during our check in which we were able to do earlier than normal thanks to room availability. He was able to get adjacent rooms for my elderly parents and I which made things so much easier. There was a problem with their room the first night, an incessant vibration and loud noise that came continuously came through the floor of the sitting area making it unusable. The next day he was able to switch my parents to a different room on the other side of us so they were no longer bothered by the loud noise and vibration. Thaddeus was polite, prompt and concerned to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Room 232 is above the water heater room and suffers from the constant “buzz” of the equipment below. There is a constant loud buzzing noise similar to a sump pump that has empty all the water but continuous to run. Additionally the room suffers from serious vibrations through the floor from the equipment in the utility room below. The room immediately next to it did not have any issues. There was no maid service to our room for the 3 nights we stayed. This was noted by the hotel that service was available for longer stays. It wasn’t a major deal but the towels did start to pile up.

The rooms were big enough to accommodate a 6 person family without us being crowded, the staff were great and the best part was there were so many restaurants for us to choose from in the immediate area and a bonus the movie theatre was right next door, definitely recommend staying here

The only thing I did not like was the fact there is no lock on the bathroom doors so privacy was an issue while having 4 children with us

The location was good for us. Off the main road, so noise wasn't a problem. The room was very big & contained a well equipped kitchen area. Very comfortable & well laid out. Breakfast was superb with lots of options incl. cereal, yogurts, waffles, omlettes & sausage patties in a bun. Good tea & coffee in the lobby as well. Parking is directly outside & the wi fi works well.

As said in another review, we try to stay at Home2Suites when possible, and this was no different. We were in Fort Collins to move our rising sophomore CSU student out of their dorm. The location, room size, and close proximity to campus and restaurants was wonderful.
