Quality Inn & Suites University Fort Collins

Breakfast included, friendly and helpful staff, indoor pool & hot tub, a big pitcher of water at front desk to remind guests that we're in a dry and high altitude so drink up, everything is clean, price is affordable for families, jogging path right next to the hotel, REI outdoor store & a few other helpful stores just a short walk away, and we were just 10 minutes away from downtown Fort Collins; maybe 15 minutes if you hit red traffic lights. Great value.

The small bath towels barely fit around an adult's waist. The bed sheets seem to be a poly blend, not all-cotton. So these are our two suggestions: Bigger bath towels, and all cotton bed sheets instead of these ever more common microfiber/polyester blend sheets which are not as nice-feeling as all cotton.

This is a good hotel, one in which we stay each year when we visit family. I will say it was not as well kept as in previous years and the breakfast has been downgraded. The staff is always nice. It is well lit and has all of the amenities a modern traveler with technology needs.

It is starting to look dated and was not as well kept as it was last year.

We were coming to Ft. Collins to visit CSU for an admitted student day. Our flight arrived Denver at 6AM. We had been traveling at that point for almost 10 hours. We had called ahead to see if we could get an early check in, but they couldn't guarantee it. However, upon our arrival the front desk was so friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to check in early so we could sleep and rest. Great service and great location.

Staff was amazing. Room was spotless.

We were on the second floor and at times thought the people in the room above us would be coming through the ceiling. Could hear every footstep. And it lasted very late into the night and super early the next morning, both nights we stayed here. Could use a little more sound proofing.

The staff was great! The room and bed were overall comfortable.

I think the Hotel could have done a better job through Covid of providing a good selection for breakfast. Small boxes of cereal, juice cups, more fruit options set out in the breakfast area, individual yogurts, etc. I think those of us who have our covid vaccine cards should be able to use the pool and hot tub any time without making a reservation. I was put in a pet friendly room,which I don't mind; but the people who were in the room before me had a pet who peed on the carpet in the corner. It was still wet and smelled pretty strong when I checked in.

Over the course of a year and half during this pandemic, we have stayed multiple times in all levels of hotels. This hotel experience has been the best. The room was very clean (a real pet peeve of mine so kudos to housecleaning!) the room was spacious for 3 people with 2 queen beds, a desk, a table with two chairs AND a couch with table. The front desk was warm and friendly, and they happily accommodated our request to be placed at the front of the building. It was also quiet. It was also a very good price for everything you got. We would definitely stay here again.

The Covid package breakfast bags. I hope the regular breakfasts come back soon. No matter what hotel you stay in, these aren’t worth even putting out in our opinion. Beds were a little soft for two people sleeping together.

Great location. Hotel staff were nice. Inside pool was clean and not too chloriney. Covid makes breakfast not as fun, but they did their best. I selected a cup of good coffee, blueberry yogurt and fresh banana...which was perfect. They offered a frozen Jimmy Dean sausage & egg sandwich that you microwaved in your room. My husband and son tried it...they took a pass the next day on it. The hotel gets five stars for trying to make breakfast good. Two coffee houses and three microbreweries on the same street (plus a bowling alley!). We were there to tour Colorado State @ Fort Collins. Easy access. Old town is nice...had dinner there and drinks.

The lift is slow...so we used the stairs...which is a better, more healthy choice. (Lifts can't be improved...they are just slow.)

For the price, the hotel was exceptional, it was VERY well maintained, i worked solidly for 2 days straight - WiFi was VERY good, no issues, bed comfortable and room was VERY clean. No complaints about facilities or condition.

It did not really bother me at all but I thought I should mention that the hotel sits on the railroad and tram line. Fort Collins has some kind of hi-speed bus operating like a train or above ground subway and it would run past each hour. The train line is also next to the tram and I think 2 trains a day passed, NO big deal at all, hotel is pretty sound proof but I thought I should mention it :)

Our son attended CSU and this was a perfect spot for our visits. Situated behind REI and Old Navy, it is quiet (though one train goes by at night) and close to campus and downtown. You can walk to coffee and food.

Covid. At first is was a paper bag breakfast, but our last stay they had a continental breakfast. Nothing special. I usually had yogurt and a banana plus coffee. The coffee was good.

A nice hotel, hidden a little from the main roads, but still conveniently located to restaurants and shopping, if that interests you. Nicely maintained. Pleasant employees. A pleasant stay.

Parking spots were very narrow. I drive a pickup, so need a somewhat wider spots so I don't hit others when opening the door.
