The hotel was a beautiful building and had a beautiful view. I thought for the price the rooms were going to be bigger but it was a wonderful room. I loved the fireplace and spa tub which is exactly what I reserved. After I booked and paid for my room I noticed my room details did not get what I specifically requested and was looking for so I contacted the hotel directly and the front desk manager Lisa was absolutely amazing on fixing the problem and reassuring me all was set as planned. I truly enjoyed my stay at your hotel and also want to let you know that your staff are all so friendly and kind including ! Thank you for everything. Amber Rosa

I loved everything about this hotel and honestly wish we could have extended our stay. The staff were lovely, from the kind front desk to the extremely efficient valet. The room was incredibly cozy and had a historic atmosphere while offering all modern amentities, including a mini fridge (free waters) and a modern shower. We really enjoyed this comfortable room while it was snowing outside.

There was nothing that I could say that I did not like. The hotel is in an extremely convenient location around a cute little tourist are with many artsy shops and unique restaurants. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Enjoyed the Breakfast buffet but there were a lot of guests, and the staff had some difficulties keeping up and keeping the food selections in adequate supply. Staff was very courteous and friendly. The dining room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the added bonus of having a newspaper to read.

A bit difficult to get the bags and items from the car to the room at check in but the valets were very helpful. The rooms did not have a lot of space for your clothes to store when unpacked and one of the drawers had a broken handle. The rooms could use a lighting upgrade as it was difficult to see in the room.

I was very impressed with this hotel! Upon checking in,they upgraded us for free merely because there was a better room available. It was a beautiful room with a fireplace, jacuzzi, even heated toilet seat. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast that was included was excellent, and included quiche, potatoes, eggs, bacon etc...versus just cereal and bagels. The dinner was very excellent, they seemed understaffed but kept accommodating us for our meal. Great location, beautiful hotel, we will definitely return.

The historic building is beautiful and our room was unique and lovely. There was a great fireplace that was romantic and fun to enjoy. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We were celebrating our wedding and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates on the bed to celebrate. They went above and beyond for us.

I tried to use the jacuzzi tub but the water couldn’t get hot enough. Not sure if the heating element wasn’t strong enough or the water wasn’t arm enough to enjoy this. Shower was okay.

We loved the vintage look of the hotel. The room was clean and cute. It came with robes, heated toilet seat (HUGEEEEE PLUS), all of the toiletries you may need and even chocolates to have with your morning Joe! The location is perfect! You can walk across the street to the old fashioned arcade, shopping, restaurants and bars. The views of the mountains are beautiful! Last but not least, the staff was wonderful! Everyone was so kind and very informative! Will definitely be coming back!

Breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Great food and beautiful dining room. I could lay in bed and look through the window at my favorite castle that I loved growing up in Manitou. The Cliff House offers so much history throughout the property🥰

The driveway in front of the property needs to be one way. The morning we tried to leave we had our car pulled in opposite of others by the valet service. Seems as though they do this to many. I understand why because it is a one way street going in front but pulling out and going right was an extremely hard turn.

Historic hotel in the middle of an adorable little town. You can easily walk to lots of shops and restaurants from the hotel. The spa tub, towel warmer and toilet seat warmers were a nice and welcomed touch after a long trip. The food in the dining room was amazing and servers were very knowledgeable and kind.

Upon arrival they were not able to find our booking.com reservation despite us proving the confirmation number and email proof. We had to wait a short while as everything was sorted out, in the end they upgraded our room for the trouble which was so kind and appreciated.

If you like historic lodges that have been lovingly restored, stay here. The location was great, one block off main street, and the staff were very helpful. They upgraded our standard room to a suite, which was very nice considering how big the suites are.

The shower was a bit dated, but really not a big deal. Being a historic hotel everything else was pretty updated and no fuss at all.

Breakfast was great, but it was the same menu every day, so a bit boring after 9 nights. I was surprised that there was no gluten free bread. My room was awesome.

I was surprised at how unfriendly some of the staff were. There was a stiff politeness, but no real warmth, and sometimes condescension. I stayed there for 10 days, and not once, as I passed reception, did anyone smile or say hello. The ladies in the dining room were very nice at breakfast, but the man in charge of the dining room in the evenings was also very aloof. I guess not a lot of Black guests stay there:(
