Mystic River Hotel & Suites

Everything was great, the location is right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Mystic. The room was larger than expected, everything was clean. The hotel itself was set up nice with a lot of places both inside and outside to relax.

There were no employees at the front desk 90% of the time, which is understandable due to the current climate of staffing issues all over.

The hotel rooms were very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The location was safe and convenient.

The hotel receptionist that checked us in was EXTREMELY rude and abrasive. I would be happy to explain the situation over the phone if you want to know more. 518-429-3281. She should not represent your establishment if you want to get repeat customers.

I had arrived a little early and the manager at the front desk helped me out by allowing us to check in early !! We frequent this hotel a lot ! We also stayed when it was quality the renovations in the lobby are nice !! They should turn the restaurant into a banquet facility !!

Feel No breakfast that I was aware of ! The parking lot could use a repave and when it was quality inn you had to slide/tap room key to get in you couldn't just walk in !!! That's just a safety thing i

Loved the location. The room was accommodating to us as two guests. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave as well. Shower was spacious.

The fact that the door leading from outside, down my hallway could not lock. Anyone outside of the hotel could gain access. The lighting could have been better in the parking area.

Very quiet relaxing clean nice atmosphere good view nice location the staff in the front was nice helpful I like the brochures I took one it was great place to visit the aquarium was awesome nice restaurant near by

The location of this hotel was absolutely amazing! We didn't drive more than 10 minutes to go anywhere! The staff was also incredibly kind.

The room was cleaned but we had a half eaten candy bar In a drawer and used contacts on the bathroom floor. Neither of us wear contacts. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled fresh. Everything else was perfect.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The front desk receptionist offered and brought a play pen to our room for our 11 month old baby girl. We also enjoyed the pool, especially our 7 year old son. Lots of chairs by the pool to lounge in and plenty of fresh towels so we didn't have to use our beach towels.

I'd suggest putting up a better sign by the road. On our first night we missed the turn because it wasn't lit up and the letters are faded. We drove around the back side before the front side as we were looking for the place. Initially we thought it was abandoned since we were in the back.

King size bed was was firm and supportive, got an excellent night's sleep. Staff were very friendly.

All areas of the hotel had a strong musty smell and there were some guest that were talking very very loud out in the hallway in the early morning that woke my husband and I up.

Salt water pool. It was nice on the hot days to go to the pool and not be assulted by a heavy chlorine smell. My teenage girl really loved the mirror in the bathroom. It was perfect for her to do her makeup...haha. Beds were comfy and the pillows were just how I like them.

No breakfast, or hot chocolate as an option for the kids at the complimentary coffee/tea station. The women's bathroom at the pool was out of order and there is no changing room or shower at the pool. It would have been nice to rinse off after swimming and change.

The location. The front desk was wonderful and very accommodating. At first my room was to be on the second floor. I asked it I could possibly have a main floor room. They checked it out and made the switch.

The pool was very dirty and had algae everywhere. It definitely hadn’t been cleaned everyday. My only complaint.
