Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center

The Staff was very helpful and pleasant at all times in every department. From the front desk, housekeeping, drivers and restaurants. A few staff stood out to me because I was here for a medical stay. The evening Lady at registration went above and beyond upon check in. The restaurant staff were helpful with food selection and most importantly coffee ready.

I did not like that guest have to pay for parking, that should be guests of guests should be charged. Also $350 for amenities I believe is awfully high and should only be charged if said guest is using those amenities. Why isn't there a microwave either on each floor within the ice machine area or within each room to make it accommodating for guests whom stay a week or more.

Our stay in general was good! The building was clean, updated, the room clean, all in all we had a good stay. Parking was a bit crazy - I believe there was another major event happening at the location. But the staff were extremely helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a good stay.

I did not like how the wifi did not work/reach our room. That was a major upset, especially given that this is an executive/conference hotel - it was an understandable expectation that was not realized. Additionally, I had the AC in the room blasting to 60 degrees, and it didnt once feel like the temperature dropped below 68. I get hot very easily and I cant sleep well if its too hot, so I was bummed out a bit that it wasn't getting cold enough. Not sure if thats an AC unit issue or the facility since up in New England some buildings turn off the AC seasonally.

Wonderful, attentive staff. Very strong water pressure in the shower! I've never had such strong water pressure in a hotel before. Our king plus sofabed room was comfortably large for two parents and one kid. Bathroom was also roomy and comfortable. The way to make the air conditioning work well is to turn it all the way down to 62. if you get too cold, adjust the temp up. It works fine. So convenient having a restaurant with a late night menu until 11:30 PM. (Although maybe that was for the convention that was happening.)

The only improvement I would suggest is that the pool needs more attention. My 7-year old enjoyed it for hours. We brought a snorkel and goggles and some little items for her to hunt for on the bottom of the pool, and she loved it.

The location was great – easy on and off the highway. The price and cancellation policy were good.

we couldn’t check in until 1030 at night. There was nowhere to get some teabags since only the bar was open. Our room had one lonely chamomile tea bag available. each room should have at least two herb tea bags and two caffeinated tea bags available along with creamers and sugar. Not everyone wants coffee. I also object to being forced to choose between coffee and danish at the Starbucks stand and a full $22 buffet. what’s the problem with having an à la cart option in the restaurant? Hotels doing this so just trying to get by on the cheap. also, $25 to self park in the garage is ridiculous.

Lovely reception area, bedrooms bright airy and clean. Staff were super efficient. Excellent customer service. Good option for concierge if needed. Good pool and gym area. Breakfast served till 11am and great option to stay till 1pm checkout if needed. Breakfast layout and different food options were excellent.

No toiletries available in the rooms, no bin in the bedroom area. No brochure in the room for information regarding hotel facilities and services for example when breakfast is served, restaurant opening times, we tried to ring down to find out but didn't know the number to get reception so had to go down in the lift to find out. There is a bar code near the TV but it didn't work. It would be difficult if an elderly or non smart phone user customer. Other hotels we stayed in placed complimentary bottles of still water in the rooms which is something that could be considered.

Great value for money, location and a smooth experience from start to finish. Erica from the front desk is extremely kind and helpful as was housekeeping and the doormen - super friendly and always greeted with a smile. Comfie beds, good water pressure in the shower, the gym had everything I needed and the pool was awesome.

The WiFi was a little spotty and though it was a non-smoking room, there was still an air of it in my room. Didn't ruin my stay and hopefully the guests violating the no-smoking policy were held accountable!

This hotel was great ! The lady in the gift shop was super friendly and helpful . I loved the toiletries and that there is a restaurant on site.

We would have like to see a more variety of food options in the restaurant and the pool was a bit of a mess ...very Wet floor and the used towels were overflowing from the bin they were put in The floor was very slippery and a hazard .. I wish there had been a staff member mopping the excess water from time to timeon the pool floor . There were a ton of people in the pool area and I saw quite a few almost slip on the floor .I'd also like to see the hot tub open . Would stay here again ..

Convenient to NYC coming from NH. Site was attractive but not in a great area for walking off the site. Not a place where it would be safe to walk to a nearby restaurant at night.

Although the desk clerk was pleasant we found it inconvenient that we walked into the lobby and were unable to personally book a room for a quick night stay. We were required to book online and stay in a room as far from the front desk as possible even though the hotel was empty of guests. Continental breakfast was not included with the room.

Breakfast was convenient and great at the Hotel. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Having the express elevator for the 9th and 10th floors was excellent.

When I booked the room through Booking.com, I paid extra for breakfast to be included and the Hotel was never notified. If I didn't have the original confirmation email from Booking.com that showed the extra charge for breakfast, I would have paid again at full price for all 3 of us to eat. Parking at the Hotel was not included in the price and there was not a flat 24 hour rate. When I pulled in the garage during the day and left the car over night, I was charged for the day and a separate charge for overnight. The garage elevator was out of service. No place to get snacks or small items.

Everything was basically fine. The service was good and staff were all helpful and friendly. I had wished that parking was complementary, given the difficulty of parking on-street, but accepted that there is high demand.

There really was nothing negative that I can say. The hotel seems to be from a certain era, and the room and hallway decor could use some updating, but nothing major there. I could smell old cigarette smoke here and there, which goes with the territory, I suppose.
