Hyatt House White Plains

We stayed in the one-bedroom king suite and loved it. The kitchen has pans, plates, cups, utensils, and appliances (including a coffee maker). The room was a generous size and clean.

The only downside was the breakfast food. It was bagged and the food wasn’t edible.

Looooove our stay at the Hyatt House White Plains. The King room, with the kitchen, and pull out sofa bed was fantastic. It was perfect for our family. We went to a family Birthday party, Grandma and our toddler went back to the room earlier then us. Fantastic that the room had two televisions. Baby could fall asleep in the enclosed king bed room, and Grandma could still watch a movie. The full kitchen had all the amenities, PLUS automatic ice, water pitcher, breakfast stool seating, and a great sampling of teas and coffees. The fold our bed and king were both very comfortable. Free buffet breakfast was sooooo fantasticallydelicious. Fresh fruits, juices, and lots of good places to sit. Also nightly fire pit is a nice sorta romantic touch.

Only complaint was it was still hot in September and their pool and spa were closed. Also they had a basketball court area, which was nice. But would of liked it to be completely enclosed for children to run. I mean there was a Dog Run, but no toddler run. Ha

I didn’t like the whole breakfast in a bag option. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful and clean

The hallways smelled of mold or mildew, ver unpleasant. The elevators were really dirty, it didn’t match the rest of the facility, if I had seen the elevators prior to, I would not have stayed there.

The room was clean and well kept. All of the options that you have for kitchen supplies / what you can borrow was great. The staff overnight was amazing. The man at the front the morning I left (Easter Sunday) was the absolute best. I really appreciated him helping me with a few questions I had. The food for breakfast could be better though.

The morning breakfast options were so bland. But we did have a kitchen so we just made our own breakfast!

we were there off. season, so pool closed. but the grounds looked nice for a bbq, fire pit , outdoor gatherings/ activities. the bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. the staff , especially Andy in the bar were very helpful , efficient and courteous.

the are near the lobby was crowded and untidy with luggage carts piled up. and the couch in our room had a cigarette burn, and torn in the edge like an animal scratched at it. I reserved a king suite , ended up with a queen , and still waiting resolution in that.

The suites are very comfortable. You have all that you would need including a full kitchen and separate bedroom and living room. The location of the was perfect for me, as it was close enough to all the different places I wanted to visit.

The cleanliness wasn’t up to par. Also, the televisions aren’t smart Tvs. We couldn’t connect our Apple TV or chromecast to the hotel WiFi, so we were stuck with boring cable channels. Also, the lighting in the suites are strange and some one light switch didn’t work at all. Also the lock on the main door was looser than I felt comfortable with.

I love this hotel, the breakfast, the staff, and the location. My family and I have made it an end of summer tradition since the pandemic.

The internet is not that great and neither is the TV service. The internet lags badly it did not allow my son or I to do our school work. The TV has no apps, no premium channels or anything.

Hotel /room clean.

Had called ahead to hotel local number but was transferred to corporate. Specifically asked about hot breakfast and was assured that there was a full hot breakfast and proceeded to book. Upon arrival asked again to be told there was not full hot breakfast but rather a to go bag with Jimmy Dean egg sandwich that I could microwave in my room along with apple orange juice and prepackaged muffin. The sandwich was terrible and we ended up going out for breakfast each day. While this is a nice hotel, for over $200/ night inc tax I would have looked elsewhere. This is a nice hotel however. No compensation was offered.

we and family have stayed here many times. the rooms are very nice and it is well managed.

we were initially assigned to one side of a connecting suite room. it was much smaller than anything we’d had before. the evening staff graciously changed our room to one like we have had on past visits. the hotel should probably only use that room when absolutely necessary .

Clean & nice sized room. Only hotel in White Plains where we could find two beds in one room rather than having to rent two separate rooms.

Room was musty. Smelled like feet. Luckily the weather was nice & area quiet so we could keep windows open. Other than that a very nice hotel.
