Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brooksville

The hotel is beautiful, the town has this old country feel to it, so my daughter and I spent hours sitting near the window (which has a bench with pillows and blanket) watching the sun rise and set. The room is extremely quiet, great entertainment option, you can connect your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more to the tv or simply watch Peacock, Tubi, or FreeVee. The local channels work as well. The shower was hot and the pressure was just right. Each morning housekeeping comes in and cleans. Breakfast is cold, with the option of bagels, cereal, breakfast sandwich, and more. Coffee, tea, and popcorn are free all day. Wonderful location and great for the family. And checkout time is at 12pm.

Everything was superbly great and I have no complaints. Wished I could've stayed a bit longer. I didn't get a chance to play in the pool and wanted to.

Place was clean and well maintained. Plenty of free parking. Some food you could buy for microwave and fridge in the room. Had a little fitness room with three aerobic exercise machines. Air Conditioning was excellent—well up to the task. Check in/out was a breeze.

Would have liked it if price was about $10/ night lower. I had an “accessible” room because I booked late so no bath tub. Roll in shower and shower curtain did not quite reach the floor. So after a ten minute shower, I had Lake Michigan forming on the bathroom floor. Oh well; nothing a few bath towels couldn’t absorb. 🙂

We like the fact that it's pet friendly with no strings attached. No extra fees, no pet restrictions on weight or number of pets. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean. There is a large area for the dogs to walk. The hotel is right off I-75 and convenient to travel to Tampa (40 miles) or Orlando (67 miles). The room was large with a kitchenette type area, mini fridge, 2 bar stools, coffee station, microwave, kitchen sink area, & couch. Overall this was a great stay. We would recommend this hotel. We stayed here while we waited to close on our house in Spring Hill (20 miles)

We liked everything

The staff was wonderful! I will be staying here again in the future. Great location, great price, great treatment. Also, very, very clean! I especially liked how you could drop your key in a basket on your way by the desk, instant checkout.

Frankly, I don't see anything that could have been done better. Okay, to be silly I guess maybe larger pillows but that is just an extreme observation. Everything was great and I would assume it will be the same way next time.

Comforter in one of our rooms had blood on it there was vomit and poop and one of the bathrooms, my bathroom toilet handle was hard to flush which made the toilet run all night, the light above my bar in my room was out, one of the carpets had vomit on it. This was a big wedding party and we had a lot of rooms with that being said I was really disappointed in the rooms this is the mother of the bride. As for the staff they were amazing very nice very helpful.

The pool area, the coffee was good always fresh and they had a variety of teas available. There was a area with snacks and drinks plus the staff was accomodating. The hotel is small but also clean. I didn't get the guy with the dreads/braids name but he was very nice. The blonde lady who did housekeeping was also very attentive. The area was also quiet and nice. No shenanigans!! Overall it fulfilled the purpose of rest and change of clothes while we visited family. I would stay here again!!

When I arrived there were a few things that were off. Like the bathroom pole for curtains was a bit detached from the wall. The room was clean but I saw that certain areas looked like they were missed. In one room the sheets looked clean but I wasn't 100 percent sure. Then there was this lady, perhaps owner or manager who kept looking at everyone like they were in a store ready to shoplift. It was very uncomfortable.

Have stayed here quite often. Will be happy when the regular breakfast is returned. The front desk staff is terrific, informative and helpful. All did their best to make our family comfortable and stress-free.

The business area is a disaster. Printer out of order (and I really needed one,) and the computer unbelievably slow. Very concerned about loiterers in the parking lot who seemed to spend their time getting stoned. Must be frightening for front desk staff at night.

Hotel was excellent. Very clean, extremely well set up for travelers. Staff was awesome, lobby was clean and well stocked for food and drinks and necessities. Fresh popcorn popping when we arrived, free breakfast was set up well, and had everything you need, including a super fun little pancake machine that made a fresh pancake in 60 seconds as you watch it cook. The best little hotel!

Two of us stayed in a suite for 8 nights as we were visiting in Bushnell. We elected the Brooksville Microtel over the Bushnell due to ratings. The location worked well for us. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping refreshed our room every day with clean towels, a made bed and overall cleaning. I can’t say enough about the accommodating staff. They were very friendly and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. My only negative would be not having espn in our room. Although, there is a bar in the main floor area that has 3 tv’s for sports. Staff even offered to warm up my leftover pizza in their air fryer. Hot coffee available 24/7. Limited bag breakfast due to Covid. Staff conscious about wearing masks. Overall very well run hotel!!

Ate somewhere else for breakfast, didn’t see a breakfast here actually. But aside from that, the property and room was perfect. I rarely use the word “perfect” when rating a hotel, but this place was stellar. Money well spent for a one night stay.

Perhaps a breakfast, but still, far and away a great place to stay for a night.
