Hampton Inn Dade City - Zephyr Hills

Breakfast good. Location to where we needed to go was further than we thought. I thought I read online that it was 2.9 miles from our destination but ended up being about 7 miles from where we needed to go.

I booked a kingsize bedroom. But on arrival was told that all kingsize beds were booked. I did not understand if I reserved a king room why was it given to someone else. We were given a room with 2 queen beds instead. It was clean and comfortable but I did not understand why a king was not held for me. We were not late and were actually a little early at check in.

Breakfast was delicious and my kids loved making waffles every morning.

I wish they provided more absorbing towels especially for the floor of the bathroom because it gets very slick and my little one fell

I booked two rooms over 1 month ago for the Grand Fondo National Series competition. I cancelled one room with the Tasha(hotel) and somehow at Booking.com cancelled my other room. Leaving me without a room the night before our arrival. Thanks to Tasha, that worked her customer service skills, contacted Booking.com to try to work out a Miracle for me hours before the competition, Tasha’s miracle worked perfectly, a customer cancelled and Tasha immediately contacted me to inform me of the cancellation after being on the phone back and forth over two hours. We finally were able to stay at the Hampton and joined the rest of our Cyclist families.

I would say the pillows

It was in the center of everything, grocery stores,restaurants,and shopping centers

The toilet was super low to the floor. I have bad knees and had a terrible time getting on and off of it

Older building but as clean as it could be. The staff was excellent and friendly. The sanitization efforts were very good and thorough with keeping everyone safe.

Sort of old and outdated, dark building/carpets. The light in our room was out by the bed along with the power charging outlet, the remote would not work so we only got 3 channels for our first day, the shower made squealing noises every time it was used so it woke everyone up. Sad to o not have the regular breakfast in the mornings. The bag breakfast wasn’t the same.

The customer service was good.

There was not anything I did not like.

Breakfast is very well organized to protect clients from any contagion, but they should provide a better option. A small sandwich would be better than an orange, and a fruit juice would be much better than a bottle of water.

The room cleaning service should be daily and you should not make the client be who has to pick up the garbage and throw it away. Cleaning supplies must be replaced daily as has always happened in any hotel.

The location was great, the hotel was very clean and modern. We stayed on New Year's Eve, and the price was still very reasonable. Would stay again if we are ever in the area. They placed us all in rooms next to each other without being requested.

Breakfast was an apple, a granola bar, and a bottle of water. I understand during covid its hard to do breakfast, but it was not great.

Staff at check in was very nice . I felt at home . Overall the room was clean. I would stay again.

Underneath the toilet was alot of black stuff. Just needs a little TLC . When the rooms are not in use , probably just needs bleach tablets in the tank to keep the build up down.

The breakfast was great! Nice to see real food options available. Great customer service. Hector is awesome!

It would be nice if rooms were cleaned maybe every other day.
