Microtel Inn and Suites - Zephyrhills

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The staff was obseeved to be very patient with an argumentative guest checking in just ahead of me (who was unhappy about the reservation his company had made fir him). Each of the staff I encountered was exceptionally kind, courteous and compassionate to me as I was having a very difficult time being in the area for the funeral of my ex-husband. (We had actually stayed at this hotel the weekend of our wedding, so emotions were very high.) Staff were VERY hospitable, from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance.

The toilet tissue holder in my room kept coming out of the wall.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! This was part 1 of a 2-part stay. (I had checked out of my originally reserved 2-night stay; but made online reservation to extend my stay for another night.) All of the staff I encountered were kind and courteous; and really represented your name well! I sincerely hope your employees are being compensated accordingly!

There was nothing I didn't like about the stay itself; except I thought the cost was a bit high

Good quick choices. Hard boiled eggs for protein and cream cheese for bagels. Also, liked that coffee and hot water available 24hrs. The fresh strawberries were wonderful - good advertising for the local strawberry festival.

The room did not smell fresh, had a funky odour to it. Only 2 handicap parking spots near entrance. The phone had not been cleaned or sanitized. Appeared to have food debris between buttons. No sanitary wipes available, had to use my own. My ground floor window latches were unlocked. Had booked room through booking.com and was told I couldn’t collect reward points to my Wyndham account.

the room was handicap accessible I have a broken foot and it was big enough for me to get around. pillows super comfy,

when we were out maid cleaned our room and turned off the air they never turned it back on. so when we came back it was super hot and muggy and took a whole for the room to cool down. also breakfast wasn’t great just toast and English muffins. they had side items you could eat like grits, oatmeal, and cereals

Jacqueline was very polite, attentive, friendly, helpful and always smiling. My cousin and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Walking to and from dinner was also a plus. The other guests were friendly too which is always a bonus.

The only disappointment was there were no eggs for breakfast on Sunday. But then we found a Cracker Barrell near by and still had a great breakfast.

The lady that stocked the breakfast was super sweet and helpful.

The young lady working when we checked in did not give us any info about breakfast times, wifi password, where our room was located etc. She was not happy to be there. The selection for breakfast was very minimal. No oatmeal packets or yogurt only apples for fruit. Our room was basically clean. The window seat cushion and curtains had white stains all over them. The corners of the bathroom needed to be cleaned.

Breakfast was good. Location was fine.

My room was not that clean. I had to clean the toilet seat myself. There was "something" on the shower wall, and my towel had hair on it. The microwave had something rancid in it, made me gag when I opened it and found it.

The room was the perfect size for 1 person; the staff were great, especially when dealing with a hurricane and people traveling to have a safe place to go.

It sounded like there was water leaking into my bathroom and it was very loud, but it only happened on Friday and the night staff explained it was from the rain on the roof.

OK place to spend a night close to Zephyrhills.

Of course you need a car to get around, but this is the US... also, as a European, the room design and furnishings are maybe not up to what we expect. But, again, this is the US, for better or worse.

There was a good continental breakfast included in the price which came as a surprise; there was no mentioning of breakfast in booking confirmation. The elderly Lady that looked after the breakfast buffet was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in a quite environment. Walmart an other shops are in close proximity. Ample parking.
