Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Great location- beach was beautiful. Received booking confirmation email w message about hot tub not yet repaired from bad storms. I had expected some issues with pool & hot guy but appreciated not having to hunt through reviews to find out it was closed. Good value for money. Very nice front desk-was able to check in a little early & provided late check out when I asked for it.

Never any beach towels when we checked twice. When we asked it was too early they weren’t out yet & second time it would be 20min until next batch came out. We didn’t want to wait & miss out on beach time so we beached wo towels.

Couldn't get back to the hotel from the beach after the pool closed.

This hotel is exceptionally clean. I have never stayed at a beachfront hotel where the staff is continuously cleaning the elevators, public areas, halls, etc. It is CLEAN! Our room was very comfortable with an excellent view of the ocean from our balcony. The location is fantastic! You can walk to Publix, Walgreens, Marshall's, and several great restaurants.

The breakfast was very expensive for what you receive. We ordered the $16.95 special which was to include 2 eggs, choice of meat and "buffet"....We thought the buffet would have biscuits, gravy, potatoes, etc. The "buffet" was actually a "Continental Breakfast" including bagel, bread, yogurt, cereal....the kind of breakfast most hotels provide free of charge. The bar was nice but be prepared to pay $15 per cocktail. Service was wonderful, the staff is very friendly.

pool closed at 8 on Friday and Saturday night even with no rain. pool area didn’t open to sit and have coffee outside till 8 am. pool bar and indoor bar closed early on Friday and Saturday night even with customers there.

Location was amazing; having the beach right there and being able to see the ocean from our room was awesome. Staff we interacted with were friendly.

Room was dated with the bathroom especially showing a lot of wear and tear. Bathroom walls had visible splatters all over them, shower heads were rusty and there were dead bugs in the light covers in the bathroom. The phone in the room was badly stained. The doors to the building were sometimes unlocked and sometimes they weren’t. There really wasn’t a convenient place to park and get anything from the car because the back door of the building was blocked (we watched most people climb over or go around the barricade that had been erected) and the side doors only sometimes responded to our keys. The dated nature of the room made it clear we were really just paying for location.

The staff at the front desk was amazing to say the least.

To be honest I was booked at the wrong Hilton and when I tried to cancel so I could book the Hilton up the street Booking .com made it very difficult for me, so I just stayed at this location rather than going through the aggravation. Front desk said I had to cancel through Booking .com since the reservation was made through them... I had to settle for less than I wanted. In closing, I will say it was my fault the wrong Hilton was reserved but it was your fault not making it user friendly for me to cancel so I could reserve the Hilton I desired to satay in. Do better .

My friend and I drove straight from Albany, NY, for Welcome to Rockville. We stayed for 6 nights, and this is by far the best hotel experience we've had while traveling for live shows. Every single staff member was super nice. Pool and hot tub were never too crowded, and private entrance to a beautiful beach. Extra points for cleanliness and the infused fruit water at the reception desk 😋

This is not a dislike at all... perhaps a suggestion? The food we had from their restaurant was delicious. Just maybe more of a variety to pick from.

After a full day over in Orlando we drove up to Daytona Beach, arriving finally ca 22:30. The free car park outside was pretty full but we found one space left. At reception we completed the usual check in formalities quickly & easily. We were assigned to room 320. This was a large, spacious room overlooking the roof area. We has two large comfortable queen sized beds. There was one armchair a desk with a chair. The bathroom had all the usual features including a shower in the bath tub and enough cleat, white towels. The hotel had good free WiFi connectivity. The next morning we asked to check out a little later that the official 11:00 a.m. so that we could watch some live European Bundesliga soccer on our laptop connected to a VPN and the hotel WiFi. No problem. Thank you. No breakfast was included in our room price so we just went further down the road after having checked out. We weren't here long enough to use any of the hotel amenities, notably the outside pool overlooking the beach and ocean. Pity.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and nice. Loved our ocean view balcony. We were lucky, and the pool and beach access were open during our stay. I received an email I week prior to saying the beach access, pool, and hot tub were closed for repairs. The beach access was nice. The beach area in front of the hotel wasn't busy or crowded during our stay. There were chairs and umbrellas available for rent but I don't know the rate as we took our own beach tent.

The room was a bit warn in. The carpet in the halls were stained or had bleach spots on them. All the light fixtures in the room had rust on them. I understand it's located by an ocean, and guests probably keep their balcony door open all the time, letting in the salt and moisture, causing the rust, but some of the fixtures were pretty bad. The towel holder on the bathroom door was loose and wouldn't hold just one towel. You had to balance two to keep them on there. I wish the bathroom had one of those strings that you pull across the shower to hang your wet swimsuits on.

I so wish I could remember her name but particularly the house cleaning lady on the 3rd floor. She was a black female, with an island accent. She and her friend were so very sweet. They greeted my daughter and I daily with smiles and laughter. She called me the glamorous Glama being that my daughter is expecting but she was so very kind. Even the staff upon check in were nice.

This is so petty but I do wish that the low calorie sweetener was Splenda. Lol.. I guess you can say I didn't really have anything I didn't like.
