The Cove On Ormond Beach

I liked how clean it was walking in. I enjoyed the hotel staff. Our room was perfect for just us two. It was also pretty quiet which I rally enjoyed 😉

I was a little disappointed with the pool area. The water sprayers weren't in operation on the lazy river and the pools did not feel heated at all. They were too cold for us to enjoy so was the ocean so kinda disappointed I didn't get to swim. Also, when I went to use our shower I noticed there were hairs in the shower left from the previous guests id assume. Didn't feel like the shower was completely rinsed out and cleaned. Regardless.. I still intend to visit again at a later time.

The staff is very friendly, friendly and courteous. The hall to the room is very clean. Pool and my room was very clean. i also was pleased that I had a Washer and Dryer in case I needed to wash something instead of going to a laundramat.

The rooms need to be updated especially the furniture. I know some guests are not very careful regarding their room. My room had only a phone in the bedroom. Prior rooms I had one also in the living area.

We stayed at a place last year that has been a landmark of Daytona for years and it was disgusting. Going in we were a little apprehensive but were pleasantly surprised! When you enter the lobby it is clean and smelled fantastic. Check in was quick and easy. Our rooms were ready and they even were able to switch my mom (83) to a handicap room (I forgot to notify them). Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. *I booked 4 rooms for us.

We had requested to be close together in the North Tower but with the exception of my Mom we were all in the south Tower. Then we had 2 rooms on the 7th floor and 1 room on the 2nd floor. It worked out ok, really just not sure how far in advance you have to book to get what you want. (I booked in Jan) A/C worked great in the common areas but the 2 bedrooms were a little warm. We cranked the fans down to 68 at night to be able to sleep comfortably. Ceiling fans would be a nice addition. The pool is kinda small and shallow, another pool or enlarging the current one would be a nice plus.

close to everything.. like the pool area and the beac is perfect! It was my mother’s 94th birthday week celebration. we have stayed here the two years prior and it’s been great. sadly, my mom passed away while we were here, the day before her birthday. I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for everyone at this resort. They went above and beyond to help me during this difficult and unexpected time. Thank you for your kindness- to everyone, but especially John and the manager of this resort.

It’s right on the beach. Great friendly staff. If you need anything they are all very helpful!

Location, lazy river!

Elevator smelled very strongly of pot in south tower. Worker/employee, a male cleaning carpets reeked of pot in the hallway& smell even carried into our room so bad we placed beach towel inside our door...the smell awoke me during s nap& several folks at pool also mentioned this issue! We loved the the accomodations & will return...hope the pot employee is gone!

Location was steps from the beach. Beach was not crowded at all. All the staff was super helpful and friendly. Lots to do within walking distance but parking was plentiful and easy.

The lights on the balcony never turn off. You aren't able to sit out and watch the sunset or the view because it's too bright. Ask the front desk to send Gus to your room. He will put painters tape over the light so you can use the balcony.

the staff was incredible! I was asked on the second day, “how was everything, did I need anything?” by Mariana. I told her we were there for a week but only had soap, etc for an overnight. On the spot she stopped and got me all that we would need. During the week, every person that worked there stopped and again asked, “were we enjoying our stay?, did we need anything?” One day while coming in off the beach Linda got real light headed and felt as though she was going to pass out. Matthew was right there with a cold compress and offers of ice cream or sodas. He stayed right with us until she felt better. Thank you so much to Mariana and Matthew and the entire staff. I worked as a supervisor for 15 years and have seen all kinds of customer service training films. The people at your resort reflected all of the traits of exceptional service.

I was there for some quiet reflection and was able to find it. Even though I was in the smallest unit, a studio, at the end of the hall, there were plenty of places facing the beach that I could go to.

Because it was at the end of the hall, there was a lot of traffic noise on my little balcony. But it is what I paid for and I do not complain! There was a lack of condo information as I understand that it was recently acquired by Hilton. But not a problem for me.

Location excellent. Balcony was so enjoyed. View of water gorgeous.

Had to pick up towels daily from front desk. No maid service for trash or changing the sheets. We were there 8 days and beds needed to be changed once during the stay.
