Biltmore Hotel

We absolutely loved this hotel and our time here. The room was magnificent with a cute little chandelier and plenty of room for four people. Facilities very clean. Pool was so relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed just walking around the property and taking it all in as it is very well manicured. The attention to detail on the ceiling in the lobby and all the moulding and trim on the walls and doorways is immaculate! Beautiful hotel with a ton of history!

Breakfast is not included. Restaurants are very expensive. I wanted to go to brunch but is overpriced and out of our budget.

has character. is close to the airport and centre of coral gables is walkable.huge pool & excellent gym. food in each venue of a good standard. room was comfortable albeit a little dated.all staff were helpful and friendly.

a bit dated in parts. air conditioning in bars was too cold and meant we didn’t stay in them long. building works near gym meant room noisy and they started early and over the weekend. automatic 25% tip on everything was excessive and didn’t allow you to choose whether the service warranted it. with the resort tax everything was 30% more expensive.golf was also very expensive for the quality of the course

I liked every thing. Very friendly and polite staff. The service was amazing. They came to clean the room twice a day and replenish anything that was need to be replenished The pool was nice and big. we went for a destination wedding and all the members of the family gathered in the same hotel. The breakfast was amazingly good. We decided to have al cart sitting outside by the pool and enjoy the tropical weather. All together was a great experience.

It would have been nice to have a walking trail or flower path. the only place I found for walking was the parking lot.

We loved our stay at the Biltmore. We particularly loved the Old World charm. The hotel recently celebrated its 95 year anniversary, but feels very much alive, while retaining charm and modern comfort. The Biltmore is located in a leafy neighbourhood giving the visitor a real taste of old Florida. The hotel also is a country club with a large gold course and tennis courts, used by local families. Our room was very comfortable overlooking the large pool. It is very conveniently located, also if you head to the airport at the end of your stay. There is a cafe located on the Lower Lobby which has lots to offer for every taste. The little shop next to it is also well stocked.

There is nothing we didn't like.

Overall a beautiful property full of character and tastefully restored. Bedrooms were spacious and had everything you need. Food and service in the Fontana restaurant very good. Gym and swimming pool both excellent. Front desk staff very helpful (especially the late check out as our flight delayed dire to storm Ian).

Whilst most hotel staff were very good, room cleanliness could have been better, and turn down service very hit and miss ( only 2 nights of our four night stay ). Also very disappointed with porters, who just watched us struggle loading our cases into our car upon departure without helping ( no doubt because we chose not to pay for valley parking). Room looked a little tired as chips in furniture, and wardrobe light not working, and hanging loose.

Beautiful facility With a total lack of hotel management ! Around the pool ,it was dirty with used towels food and cups everywhere,only 2 pool serve staff that really didn’t want to service anyone.They seemed overwhelmed,total lack of management!!! Looked like spring break had come through Nobody on the grounds New much about the facility Cleaning service for room wouldn’t come until almost 6 in the evening,no bath products left,towels,maybe no maid supervisor,advertised offerings in the hotel, The concierge knew nothing about. Employees were VERY Poorly trained. It was a Beautiful grand hotel with a group of Young inexperienced employees that barley spoke English and were Very Poorly Managed. What an injustice for a Beautiful Property!!!! Travelers pick up on this immediately And can’t understand why management would allow this?!!!! Love The Property!

I grew up in Miami. I drove by this place once a week, dreaming maybe one day I could see the pool for real. Well now I'm big and little me was right. This place is extraordinary. Not a mass-produced modern with paper-thin walls. The doors are solid wood. The moldings are classic. This place is a piece of history. The [junior suite, anyway] bathroom is nicely-sized and gives couples privacy when it's wanted and a nice shared space when it is not. The ceilings are high. The landscaping is second to none. The wildlife is so lovely; the Parrot Jungle birds overstayed their lease and now show off all day long. The suite is legitimately a suite and not a cube with a couch in it. The interior design is flawless. The bed has two firmer and two softer pillows. Lavazza coffee in room (hate places that make me get dressed to get coffee!). Lots of storage. Great views. Free parking (SoBe hotels are charging $45 daily for parking). Shout out to Eva Luna and Marco for making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The pool is even better than you think it is, but service is iffy.

The online menu offers an omelette alone but when I arrived at the restaurant, the server said that item had been removed. He was great and worked with the kitchen to get me just an omelette but if he hadn't, I would have had to have paid $37 for the buffet. I don't know who wants to house a buffet breakfast every day in 90-degree weather, but it ain't me.

It was the second time we came to the Biltmore and it was with the same pleasure as the first time. We appreciated the charm of the old building, its facilities and its surroundings. Room rates are reasonable for an hotel in that category, at least compared to the rip-off of Miami Beach. Easy (and free!) parking.

Probably nothing the hotel management could do about, but there were quite a lot of not very well educated customers during our stay; this is unfortunately a reason that could deter us to come back a third time. Staff in the pool restaurant could be more efficient (it can be long to be able to place an order and to get the bill.

The service is unmatched! From the moment we were greeted upon arrival, throughout our stay, right up until check out, we were given the royal treatment. Anything you need, just ask! It was everything we hoped to find at a resort like this, and we were not disappointed. It was like being transported from Miami to a European oasis. It was the perfect choice for a romantic getaway. The location was close to everything Miami offers, yet insulated from the urban chaos. We were also blessed with a huge balcony, complete with a beautiful view of trees, with the city in the distance. Quiet, elegant, upscale... All the things we wanted. Even the room service meals were perfect!!!

The only thing I could possibly say we didn't like was the bed, it was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows weren't great, either. Also, the linens could've been better.

Beautiful building. Great pool. centralized location. Upgraded room was really nice.

My check in experience was not good. The lady who helped us was not friendly at all. Her name is Diana. She did not smile once and did not make us feel comfortable or welcomed. She charged me for my room twice and did not fix my bill. Thankfully it was resolved during checkout with someone else. After checking in, Diana did not even bother to direct us to our room or tell us anything about the hotel. She offered very poor service, specially for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the bathtub in my room was chipped and the top of the headboard on the bed was full of dust. For a 5 star hotel I would expect the room to be immaculate.
