Mr. C Miami - Coconut Grove

The hotel's location is excellent. Many restaurants are nearby, there is a great night life as well. The pool and the roof top restaurant are amazing. The free Bellini cocktail offered upon arrival is a nice touch.

City view - and 8:00 am start of refurbishing job done right in front of our terrace. Very disturbing, and it was not mentioned anywhere. The pictures showed ocean view for the room I booked. I believe I paid ocean view rate - yet the room looked towards the city. The hotel reception confirmed that booking.com rate was for a city view room. The description on booking.com is deceiving!

Beautiful and elegant property. Italian flair and style. Well taken care of. Polite and friendly staff. Most perfect location in the heart of Coconut Grove surrounded by the best restaurants.

Only dissatisfaction was the very low water pressure in the shower and the very poorly noise isolating room doors. Always unpleasant having to deal with easily fixed issues as a guest. On check out young lady wasn’t very helpful and rather dismissive when I wanted to stay an extra night. Because of this I decided to not stay longer. Otherwise I would’ve loved to stay.

There was a construction next to the hotel and they start working since 7:00 am if they had told me so probably I would have picked another hotel instead of vacation sleep late and everything that should be done we wake up with the construction noice and obviously people at the hotel could not do anything about it

I loved everything about Mr C! I was greeted with warmth and they offer a welcome Bellini which is a very nice touch. The room was excellent - very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the AC temperature was just right. The walls were thick - I couldn’t hear anyone next door. The pool was lovely as well - comfortable chairs, water and sunscreen available by the bar area. Lots of towels provided as well. I was very impressed by the level of service - everyone from the bellboy to the pool staff, concierge and valet - restaurant staff - offered impeccable service. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming and happy to help. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to stay at Mr C and I can’t wait to be back.

Valet parked. Car returned with exterior extremely dirty. Must have parked under tree or someplace where road dirt/dust was prevalent. A little disconcerting when paying $44 for overnight parking. At lunch, hostess asked if we would like water, still or sparkling? Still was preferred. Water was charged at $10. Should have expected charge since "tap water" was never offered but still somewhat surprised.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was our first time visiting Miami, and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, coffee, or along roads in residential areas. The staff were incredible and very accommodating (especially at Bellini!). The facilities were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Loved the addition of the water bottles and chocolate each night.

It could've been an added bonus to have our own coffee maker in the room, but I understand times have changed since COVID.

Location is perfect if you're looking to stay in the heart of Coconut Grove. The pool deck is beautiful and has an amazing view of the water. Take the hotel's bikes to Peacock Park (try Glass and Vine for happy hour!), and then take the 5 minute walk to the best restaurants and shops in the Grove. The hotel itself is stunning, you feel like you're on a swanky cruise liner.

Free coffee is only available until 7:00am, not 10:00am like they indicate on the website. I had a $25 amenities fee on my bill, and I'm not sure what that came from (maybe the pool deck?).

The bed was super comfortable, everything was incredibly clean and the staff was great. The room decor is unique - almost feels like a really spacious cruise ship suite.

The fridge in the room is stocked with items for purchase so you can't really store anything in there. There's no microwave in the room. There's no ice machine so you have to call the restaurant to bring you ice. There's a $5 fee each time you order room service. The hotel places a hold of $100 PER NIGHT when you check in to cover incidentals - that was NOT disclosed at booking. We ordered room service for breakfast, it was about $100 for 2 people - it was good but not worth that much money. The view from the room was a parking lot... not exactly what their site boasts. The lobby is super small and the pool area is pretty small as well.

There is a “amenities/facility fee” charged per day of 25 USD during the checkout. I believe they could just include that into booking fees instead of charging it separately. The customer experience and cost perception would be better
