The Standard Miami

Absolutely gorgeous grounds, the gardens and pool area we’re just stunning. the sun set everyday off the peir and it really is the most beautiful place. the decor too is very very cool.

we got the cheapest room granted, but it was a little small and basic. no loads of space or as inspiring decor as the rest of the hotel but still comfortable and modern. also not sure if it was the time of year we went (weekdays in November), but it felt like it was mainly people working on their computers around the pool and having business meetings, so there wasn’t a very fun party vibe, it was quite serious.

Room was exactly as advertised. Great bed. Really fun property.

Bizarre almost $50 minibar charge for beer, when we didn't take anything from it. So far, they've refunded the beer charge (I don't drink) but there's still 15$ outstanding. Waiting to hear back....that said, I shouldn't have to deal with this (had to ask for folio again, as it still didn't arrive for 24hours after checking out and that's when I saw the charge).

I enjoyed the location and to be on the ground floor. The pool was nice.

There was a major hiccup on arrival as my booking was cancelled. Apparently some sort of issue between Booking and the hotel. I didn’t quite like the way it was handled by most of the staff except for one gentleman that was working in the afternoon that I found very helpful. The rest of the staff seemed totally oblivious of how much stressful it had been. My room was close to the bar and the AC unit so noisy.

absolutely beautifully clean, crystal blue pool, gorgeous, tasty food at the restaurant, very lovely little cafe with the friendliest authentic ladies.

music playing across the entire venue, couldn’t hear the rain through the elevator musics. on a secluded island, not much around that doesn’t involve using Uber. infact, nothing around. so you will need Uber. little bit of a ‘class’ vibe unfortunately.

Extremely friendly staff, facilities were on point, and location is right in between Wynwood and South beach.

To make best use of the spa, you have to consider going during atypical hours as the size of the sauna, hammam, and steam room (evidently) can't accommodate for all visitors at once. Prices of certain items on the food/drink menu are on the higher end.

We loved the pool area and the wonderful garden. The staff, especially Taryn, were exceptionally helpful. We were by far the oldest guests and Taryn and all the staff looked after us with great care. A fun, happy and a place where anything goes - fantastic, I felt young again.

Very healthy food, no ice cream!

The drinks, pool, location and the room. And the regular staff, room. Is amazing very conmfy, has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. The food is good, but the options are very short. But you will find everything you need. Prices are decent, I will come back def, because there were more good things than bad.

Some people on the front desk have a big attitude, also the pool manager, it looks like they don't like there job, hard to get along with. Besides that, amazing staff there, the mades, waiters, hostess, we're super nice to us.

Amazing amenities and great room! I had a bathtub on the terrace. The location was perfect. Housekeeping and Room service were impeccable

Front Desk/pool staff could be more attentive and do a better job of remembering guests that are staying at the hotel to avoid asking them for their rooms a million times. it is tacky

Spa and common area facilities were amazing

Room was small and lacked basic amenities like a kettle. Also hidden charges that were not disclosed

The vibe and personal that work there are amazing. the Spa it’s a gem and our room was very comfortable and very well decorated. We used to live in South Beach and The Standard with the new changes is our favorite. the Hammam is a real gem.
