Sleep Inn & Suites Defuniak Springs

Breakfast was what it was. Wont say the greatest but it did have value. If you want to know what is lacking go eat and see for yourself. Every day was the same so it kind of was ok for me but i had a choice and could skip for a day or two

Daily the same breakfast but hey I don’t want to sound rude. Would have loved to have hard boiled eggs in stead of the powdered eggs. But can’t complain. I know corporate needs to budget.

We liked the location, and the hotel/room itself was kept clean.

Two of the staff members in particular didn’t seem overly thrilled to be there or willing to help us with our issue. Maintenance guy turned his back and walked away when my husband approached him to ask about fixing our door. Our door did not lock and no one ever came to fix it. They offered to put us into another room but it was much smaller.

Everything was very good. Breakfast was great, shower great, bed great, very clean, the staff very nice. There is a gas station, McDonald’s and Subway right across the street, what was very convenient for us. I highly recommend this place.

There is nothing that bothered us. For the price you pay, this is a great choice.

Check in took a really long time. I stood at the counter at what seemed like forever because the guy who was trying to check me in kept answering the phone while I was the only one standing there with my bags in hand needing to get changed and ready for a wedding. I had already pre-booked the room. Maybe he was the only one working? But he could have let someone on the phone know if they could be put on a brief hold while they attended to a customer at the front desk. Just prioritize a little bit more efficiently. Other than that incident, everything else was great.

Super clean, nice rooms, friendly night staff!

The lady that was at the front desk on Saturday was very rude! We were not aware of the card you hang on your door for towels and wash cloths so she made us sign for the linens we got and was not friendly at all!

The gentleman at the desk when we checked in - Taylor - was very helpful and accommodating. The entire facility was even nicer than others we have visited before - appeared to be a newer facility - we have not traveled in over 2 years so many facilities may have been updated or built since previous travels. The breakfast was better than we remembered from previous visits to other Sleep Inns.

The beds and pillows are always very comfortable. Having a variety of items to choose from for breakfast is nice to help start the morning road trips.

Not sure if the hotel should ask about choice rewards , AAA or AARP when checking in. However I always have to mention that .

I would recommend this hotel to those who agrees to the things we liked about it! Some of the things we liked: - Curtains blocks outside light - No bed bugs or cockroaches - Super Safe neighbourhood - Free Parking - Soundproof windows that makes the room quiet

The room was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and amenities perfectly adequate. We had a great stay. Staff was so nice and friendly! Perfect spot for my family (the two toddlers loved the room!)

Breakfast was dreadful. And no freezer in the mini-fridge, and no ice to be had, was a problem with me carrying frozen food. But the staff was great, the bed was comfortable, easy on-off the freeway. The street address given didn't work with my GPS, so I travelled 15 miles in the wrong direction trying to get there.
