decor, convenient layout and extra appliances like microwave and fridge, large tv, big comfy bed, good amount of storage for clothes and bags, chairs to sit outside on a nice day. They also provided a nice Welcome goodie bag with chips, snack bars and large bottles of water free of charge. Convenient location to walk into historic downtown or drive to Silver Springs State Park. Staff responded immediately to a noise complaint and resolved the situation within minutes.

The owners are really what make this place shine. John was so helpful and very polite in answering all of my questions and trying his best to accommodate us. The decor isn't for everyone, but it was put together with a lot of heart. I love how walkable the location is. I've stayed in other places in Ocala that are not walkable, and it gets annoying to have to buy a Lyft for every little thing. AC worked fantastically, and the shower pressure was amazing. Wifi was fast and allowed me to do any remote work that I needed. The antique desk was cute and fine for my work. There was also a cute little black cat wandering around outside at night. A very homey, friendly vibe. One of my friends who visited me was also very happy to see a place that is explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly. He lives here and doesn't often find spaces that are friendly to him. Just make sure to tailor your expectations. You won't see big hotel style amenities here, but the price for the walkability is more than worth it. Plus, the owners will go above and beyond to take great care of you.

The mattress was too firm for me and hurt my back, but it couldn't be helped. My partner found it very comfortable. I was still able to sleep well.

Adorable little roadside motel. Beautifully decorated rooms. Each room has a different decor theme, as the very kind employee was happy to show us! Pretty landscaping with trees, flowers and a covered pavilion. Wonderful staff. Very clean rooms, original touches remain, but modern amenities have been added. A short drive away from restaurants and shopping. Good coffee and snacks in the lobby. Despite being located on a busy highway, the rooms are very soundproof

Rooms are a bit small by modern standards. Beds were a bit soft. No doubt when the motel was built, it was on a quiet street, but now it is a busy 4 lane highway, across from the police station. Lots of cars driving fast. It is a shame, because this motel is really adorable. Be warned that pets and children under 12 are not allowed here

An amazing stay. Recently changed hands and had new management. Ignore those old reviews, they're so last year. 😉 This is an intimate, 12 unit hotel. When we were there, they were remodeling and upgrading some of the rooms to a boutique model with each room having its own, distinct style. (The rest of the rooms had already been upgraded.) The rooms are cozy and inviting, with all the modern amenities. There are a few room types, so be sure you book the one that fits your needs. We meet John, the property manager, and Frank (the owner), both of whom are very friendly and hard-working guys. We stayed for two weeks and could not have been happier. If you're visiting Ocala, this is the place to stay. We will absolutely be going back there. FYI - the hotel can fill up on weekends, so book early. Also, the hotel is LGBTQIA+ (and every other letter of the alphabet) friendly though, sadly, they don't allow pets.

This vintage / historic little "cove" is a gem. The rooms are quaint, very comfortable, quiet and just a delight. John, the property manager was welcoming and accommodating. I travel for business and have booked my next set of dates. The rooms have a small refrigerator, a microwave, a fireplace (faux) and the room was immaculately clean.

Nothing could be improved upon. This vintage boutique Inn is just a tiny 9 or 10 room inn with the original terrazzo tiles, kitschy and quaint. The only thing that maybe could be added is a little more light. I was working from the room and needed a little more light, but other than that, just perfect.

We were charmed by the exterior and interior decor. The bathroom is a little tight, but we're chonky people, so that might just be an 'us' issue. The place is very clean, well-maintained, with a very friendly and accommodating owner. He kindly worked with us when we had a payment issue. We accidentally left my husband's sleep apnea pillow and he called us to let us know, which was great because that thing is a pain to replace. There are some shady-a$$ motels in Ocala, so it was great finding a privately-owned place to stay that wasn't terrifying. Definitely loved the proximity to Harry's Seafood. We highly recommend them as well. Food allergies prevented me from being able way eat in the restaurant, but the motel is close enough that even door dashing it, the food was still steaming hot.

The motel can't do anything about this, so it's just sort of a warning to future guests--the parking lot is really tight, so larger vehicles might have a problem if the lot is at capacity.

The Inn had a rustic and home like feel that you will not find at modern day typical 'cookie cutter' inns or hotels. Each room was decorated individually and beautifully and snacks and coffee were provided.

Nothing that I did not like. The owners were excellent and friendly and the property was very nice and beautifully decorated with local and other plants on the outside too.

The place was cool. Room was clean and very unteresting, bed was comfortable, i slept well. John the manager, etc, was great person and informative.

Needs a better fix to wall outlet, couldnt find a place to plug phone in, my friend next door said same thing. There was an outlet but it was recessed and my little charger would not fit. Maybe just a small outlet strip would be a good idea. My friend said it was lou because of the major roadway there (that didnt bother me)

My daughter and I stayed there for a horse show. The place and rooms are well kept up. John the manager is amazing. He took my calls throughout our trip at any time. I loved our room. Boutique Inn with a theme and a feeling of walking back in time.

The only issue I had was the distance to the Horse Park. Just because the horse shows have a rigorous schedule. John told me honestly that it' will not be 10 minutes away. I am thrilled we stayed for a unique hotel stay.

The rooms are all individually decorated in an antique, eclectic style - VERY creatively done. The experience was like dropping in for a visit with a favorite aunt because the room was so homey and personalized. The antique iron bed was extremely comfortable, the walk-in shower very nicely tiled and the bathroom was nicely decorated. A very comfortable stay.

Traffic noise is noticeable, but it's bearable.
