Bayside Inn and Marina

The location is great in walking distance to the beach and so much more. The staff is friendly and got us checked in quick. The room was spacious and clean, had a small kitchenette, although we didn't use it. A comfy king size bed. I thought maybe because we were on the main road it would be noisy but it is a quiet place and I definitely look forward to staying again it's absolutely worth it. Simple Beach motel.

The property is a little dated but other than that for a room so close to the beach and such a great location it was worth it.

Nice comfortable clean rooms. The outside area was also very nice and kept up well.

When you signed in it had rules such as no pets,no smoking,no lost keys or you could be charged a large cleaning or replacement fee. I understood and agree with those policys.When you got in your room there were more rules posted such as you will be charged replacement fees if you accidently tarnish silver or burn à pan($50) and etc. After reading the list we decided to grill out and that is $10 per day. My Daughter's family was staying nearby and stopped by for a very short time and they were charged $20 to Park. I know parking is limited but at the time they arrived there were a few spots. The front office said it is $20 to Park for 15 min. Or all day.

Excellent location for a fair price! You could walk to everywhere, to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The room was very clean. It was comfortable and had enough space. The kitchenette was also well equipped.

I didn't like the toilet paper. It was very harsh. There was a customer who was frequently outside smoking marihuana on the property. The smell was overwhelming that we couldn't enjoy being outside at tables on the bay.

The hotel is well located so it was easy to get to the places I wanted to see. The room was very clean and the staff was nice. Very comfortable bed. I loved the outside deck overlooking the pool...it was a great place to sit and read, have coffee or just relax!

I arrived a little before the 3 pm check in and had to wait outside in my car until 3. I knew I might not be able to get into my room early but I wasn't allowed in the lobby area with my dog...although the hotel is pet friendly. It was very warm out that day so this was a little frustrating.

You know the old saying, you get what you pay for? I was worried because the price was so low. Much to my surprise, I was VERY happy with my room and everything about it including cleanliness. Maybe a little updating could be done, but then the price would go up. A young couple pulled up as I was getting to my room and asked if the rooms were nice. I said come on up and take a look. Their response was, WOW. We are getting a room here also.

Highly suggest this quaint, very clean location. The pool was warm and very clean. There was an outdoor seating by the marina in the back which was very cute and they even had barbecue grills! The staff was very friendly and we will definitely return!

There really wasn't much to not like! Just a bit softer toilet paper but that was about it.

The front desk lady was very nice, and the room was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept in at a hotel or motel. Even though it's across from the ocean, we are right up against the Mariana, so it's still beautiful water right out your window. We were impressed and very happy with the staff and our room.

Didn't experience anything we didn't like

The people who ran it were not real friendly, until we were leaving then they cheered up. We had to empty own trash, ask for towels, soap, toilet tissue. I felt like they treated us like we were going to steal their things. Before we pulled out of the parking lot the wife nearly ran to the room. I thought perhaps she was checking to see what we stole.

Room was nice. Location was nice. It was clean and had the nicest lady who they worked like a dog that helped us get the things we needed. The man micro managed everything the poor lady did. Which was EVERYTHING. She painted pool fence, took care of customers, swept office, and I'm sure a whole lot more. I hope they pay her well. She deserves it. I called her pigtails. She was a nice, nice lady.

Location is great. Half mile walk to johns pass which is hard to find parking there. Beach access is across the street. Owners are very friendly. My husband and son did some fishing in the canal behind the hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Only problem I had was the dampness. Being that it's right across from the ocean I imagine every hotel in the area has the same issue.

It had beautiful landscape, not many properties had landscape but this one did. You can see the boats off the marina in the back of your room. We got to see dolphins swim in the morning. The view during the day and night are relaxing. Located near Publix and some local venues. If your on a budget you can cook some breakfast in your room. I would definitely stay here again.
