Great location! Just across the street from the beach! Easy access to shops, restaurants, and several parks and beaches. Many are dog friendly! The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. We also liked that there were only a few units, not big and busy like a resort.

The TV was a little odd. The one in the living room and bedroom seemed to be connected, so we couldn't watch different things or adjust the volume without it changing the other TV, too. We also really would have loved a pool on property! Otherwise, it was just fine!

Silver Sands is always quiet and peaceful, very clean, and the location is excellent! I like that we were able to take two of our little dogs. We love it and will go back again as it has become our yearly tradition!

Silver Sands was great! What wasn’t great was my hubby and I came down with Covid and that basically ruined an otherwise beautiful vacation. He started feeling sick the day we arrived and I was sick less than 48 hours after that. I was so upset to have our vacation ruined due to illness.

The property itself is stylish and well-appointed, The beds were comfortable, and there were enough sheets and towels for all 4 of us. Yes, the street outside is a busy one and can be noisy, but we knew this before we booked. The location works well for walking to the Madeira Beach area and the Saint John’s area as well as the area near the Biltmore along the Treasure Island stretch of beaches. Everything is within a mile radius, but you are a little closer to the Madeira side of things. We stayed for two nights and had a great beach day at Treasure Island. It was convenient to simply walk across the street and use the wooden walkway to access the beach. And were able to pay a reasonable per deposit to bring our dog along with us which was a lifesaver. Finally, we requested the ability to check in a little early on our first day, and the property manager was quite accommodating and kindly texted us as soon as our room was ready. We stayed in the unit five which was great for our dog because there was a private gated patio with a back door out of the bedroom. That worked very well for taking her out at night without waking up those sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living room. Overall this place is a great value for the money and worked very well for our needs.

Perfect location, super easy check in and out.

We were with out hot water for 1.5 days. Called in but no maintenance arrived only the day after. Not a fan of cold showers. Room has a number for house keeping. Called twice for towel change. Nobody picked up, but left a message and still no luck. One morning I "hunted"down the housekeeper while cleaning to get my towels changed. The overall experience was still great, they just need to improve customer service.

I loved the area and how we as a family could hang out in the first floor with one appartment each. The kids could run between eachother and had a blast. We appriciated the dining area outside.

Only charcoal to bbq with that we had to buy, but other than that great. Some of the rooms had a strang smell of damp and it took some time to try to get most of it out.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to walk to John’s pass and the beach. It was quiet and relaxing!

I was told there was no early check-in prior to arriving. We had arrived at the location at 1:00 and check in with not until 3:00. When I asked again through texting if we could go in earlier I had no response. We waited outside of the room until 3 o’clock and then went inside. I just think since the room had already been cleaned & was ready it would’ve been nice if I had a response.

I loved that it was walking distance to the beach and many places close by. plus we had a birthday party with a large amount of friends at another hotel that was just 4 miles away and this place was so much nicer to stay at and affordable!

The only thing I had a problem with was I was given 2 lockbox codes by email and had to retrieve my first email as the the second update code I was given was not correct. But I assume this was just an accidental error and not really a major problem.

as other review said, the management company kept sending me email for check-in detail and said to contact them with any questions. I email .. no return. I text the number, no return. I called and the recording stating a different phone number and then said the mailbox is full. so I never got to talk to anyone to ask questions!

communication was rated 1 out 10 no weekend responses housekeeping number posted in unit was cell number of person that no longer works there. dirty linens only replaced if you set outside room which we only found out by residents that have long term agreements. possible that its new owner and management company is not good at all with communication

Beach Accessible from across the street, walking distance from Johns Pass, Pet Friendly, extremely well taken care of and Clean property. Clean units, large kitchen and nice bathroom with nice shower and comfortable bed and pillows. Loved unit #6 with the large balcony area. Plenty of parking with parking pass. Nice pool area at the Bungalow. Highly recommend.
